Ellie is 6

My baby turned 6 on April 6. Instill cannot believe this!!!

She was just this sweet little bit and now she is big and almost finished with kindergarten.

We had a skating birthday party to celebrate. I tried with as many alternative ideas for a party but this is exactly what she wanted so this is what we did.

This little girl can be just the sweetest little thing you have ever been around. She has been acting so grown lately and sometimes when I talk to her I feel like I am talking to an adult πŸ˜„

Here are some things we want to remember about you at 6
-you sweet silly laugh. Sometimes you just start giggling and you cannot stop.
- how much you love and care for your sweet sister. You constantly watch out for her and are always doing for her. Y'all are the best of friends and I hope you two always stay like that.
- how much you love your sweet kitty, Macy and he loves you too.
- how you are learning to read. You have learned so much this year at school but your reading is great and mommy and daddy love to hear your sweet voice read.
- how great you are at riding your bike. This is one of your very favorite things to do.
- how you love to hear stories from mommy and daddy. Of when we were young and the adventures we had.
- how you love to help your mommy and daddy. There are many times you will it leave our side and want to do just what we do ❤️
- how you are so curious and interested in the things that go on around you. You don't want to miss out on anything.

We love you so much sweet girl. We love watching you grow and change. You are so special to us.

Spring Break Beach Trip

We spent the last part of spring break down at the beach. The girls were so excited to finally get their toes in the sand and their bodies in the water πŸ˜„

The weather was still a little cool but we still played in the water like it was the middle of July! ( minus the blue lips and shivering)

One day we rented bikes and went on a trial ride. It was lots of fun and I know we will do it again.

We went over gator bridge and saw this πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜πŸ˜

We tried to convince the girls that we should move to the beach but they both seemed a little hesitant about the idea... So I guess we will just have to settle with frequent visits

Spring Break

We had a fun and very busy spring break. We had something fun planned every day.

The first day we went to the movies to see zootopia. It was a cute fun movie but as always the snacks are usually always the most exciting things at the movies.

That night we went to the park to ride bikes and fly out kites that the Easter bunny dropped off. πŸ˜„πŸ°

The next day we went to the botanical gardens. I did not expect it but the girls LOVED it here and we will be going back soon for sure!

After that we went and painted some pottery at Do It Yourself Crafts. This was so much fun. We have not seen the pottery finished yet but I am sure it will be beautiful!!

The next day we met some friends at the park and had a picnic lunch and ate ice cream.

And our last two days we headed to the beach for a beach trip!! New post to come on that trip πŸ˜„πŸ‘™

Easter weekend

This week and weekend was packed full of fun Easter things πŸ˜„

Thursday night we dyed eggs.
This night was very eventful because I had got the egg dye package out and my phone rang so I went to go get it. I was talking and Ellie came to tell me that she had opened it and was getting it ready. That was not what I wanted her to do but said "ok". Then a minute later Annie comes walking in the bedroom with blue hands and a blue mouth😱 I asked her if she ate the blue tablet and she just started crying. I called poison control and the lady said she would be fine. Just give her some water to help dilute it.
So then I calm her down and walk into the kitchen and see that we actual do have blue egg dye. I asked her how her mouth was blue and Ellie said "oh she ate the marker!" This kid. Well I remember that crayola brand is non toxic...thank goodness.... So when poison control calls back to check on her I tell her what really happened and she said well that's even better because that can't hurt her. I'm sure she was thinking " you need to watch your kid lady!!"

Not the leftover blue on her cheek.

They actually had a great time dyeing eggs and we were very excited to have some blue eggs because those are my favorite πŸ’™

Friday morning we woke up and tried to go see the Easter bunny and eat lunch with Matt. Well the furry bunny didn't make his appearance at Bass Pro until 2:00 so we ate and went to buy some flowers. Once we got back at 1:50 the line was already to the back of the store.
Ellie was easily talked out of seeing him. Annie was eventually talked out of it and was ok with just walking by and waving.

Luckily I got a cute picture of the two of them before we leftπŸ’“πŸ’“

Friday night we had a Easter egg hunt / fish fry with matts family. The girls loved it and found lots of eggs. Ellie spent the night with her cousin Clay and Annie spent the night with Aunt Em.

Saturday night we got together with my family. We hunted eggs, ate and watched the kids play.

The girls got in bed extra fast last night and waited for the Easter bunny.

He came!!! And brought lots of goodies and candy with him.

We woke up extra early and made resurrection rolls and then headed out to early church with my family.

So many cousins!!!

After church we went to Matts parents to eat and celebrate a little more πŸ˜„

Happy Easter ! 🌷🐰✝
