Ellie just loved holding them and was so soft and gentle with them.

Easter Egg Hunt

Wednesday night was our church's easter egg hunt.

I was excited because I just knew Ellie was going to LOVE hunting for the eggs

but she was not so interested in it.

They did the toddler egg hunt on the playground this year and the swings and slide were a majoe distraction for her but we had fun anyways!!

She did have fun going down the slide with her eggs in tow!

There is always next year for the hunt!

Ellie is 2 !!!

Today, two short years ago we welcomed this sweet baby girl in the world!

And now...as hard as it is to imagine...she is 2!!

I just marvel at God's handiwork when I thing how this beautiful baby girl could grow into this...

in just two short years!

We love this sweet, precious baby girl so very much!

Practice Makes Perfect!

Since Ellie's birthday is only two days away we have been "practicing" blowing out her candles!

We sing a fast version of the birthday song...

Small Group at the Park

Last Sunday night we went to the park with our small group.

The weather was perfect and we had a great time eating, visiting, and playing with all the kiddos!

Pooltime

Since it feels like June and its only March we decided it was time to get out the baby pool.

We found out pretty quick that we are going to have to invest in another baby pool this summer because ours has a hole in it but it held up long enough for Ellie and Blair to have a little fun in it!

We also had a yummy treat of ice cream sandwiches...which Ellie LOVES!

We spent most of the afternoon outside.

I was sitting on the towel watching Ellie chase something and before I knew it she had chased down and caught this grasshopper all by herself!

She loved it and did not want to let it go but I was scared she was going to squeeze it and kill it so I was able to convince her that it needed to go and take a nap she... she let it go on its way saying "Nigh, Nigh hopper!"

Spring Beach Beach Trip

We took advantage of Ellie's first spring break and headed down to the beach :)

It was nice to get away and relax.

Ellie loved the beach even though the water was a little cool.

We had some picture made on the beach and I cannot wait to see them!

Kissing the birds bye bye

On Saturday we went out in the boat for the day.

Ellie loved it!

I think she was born to be on the water!

She was helping drive...

We went out to the island and spent the day out there.

It was perfect for Miss Ellie!

The wter was clear and shallow.

I think she would have stayed out there all day long!

She loved to kick in the water and say "spash!"

We had a great trip and are ready to go back when the water warms up a little more!
