Long week...

Last week was just a long week...

Ellie has been sick and not sleeping well AT ALL so whatever free time I have been having I have been napping and resting and obviously not blogging :)

She started running a fever Monday night and had one on and off until Friday afternoon.

I ended up taking her to the Dr just because...

They did some lab workand of course it was just a virus...a very long virus.

She always takes a while to get back to her "normal" self after she is sick so we are still waiting for the happy, less dramatic Ellie to come around :)



Casey's Cause

Last Saturday we went down to join in the fun at the 5th Annual Casey's Cause Run.

Casey is the neice of my sweet friend Shannon.

Casey's Cause

Ellie had great fun with the blow up slide.

She climbed up all by herself and came down all alone too.

What a big girl!!!

She also had fun with Aunt Em doing arts and crafts and making a cool hat!!



My Little Fish

I am convinced that this little girl thinks she is part fish.

We went swimming this past Saturday and she acted like she had been swimming her whole life.

She LOVED the pool.

She did not want anybody to hold onto her...when you tried to get her she said "no, aself!!"



She also loved jumping in the water with or with somebody there to catch her!

I was excited that she did so good and loved swimming so much but ever since we have been swimming I have been telling her over and over that she can only go swimming when she is with somebody and when she has her swim jacket on...I just pray she listens and understands!



Love You Forever

At night when I put Ellie to sleep I always say the words to my favorite book when I was a little.

Now I guess she has heard it so much she has started saying it with me and hearing her say those words just melts my heart...

I love you forever...

I like your for always...



As long as I'm living...

Beach Getaway

Last week Matt and I spent a few days alone at the beach.

It was so nice and relaxing just laying on the beach with NOTHING. TO. DO.

We did miss our sweet Ellie Bellie very much....but it is crazy how you forget how peaceful a car ride can actually be without a two year old :)

Graduation

We headed down to Montgomery on Friday to see Seth graduate!

Ellie was SUPER excited about seeing Aunt Em and we are so happy that she will be home all Summer long to play...YAY!

The food was so good!!!

Afterwards we had cake to celebrate!!!
