7 and 8 months

Today my sweet little sugar lump is 8 months old. Hard to believe? I know.
She keeps us on our toes. She is a people person and loves being held and entertained just about all the time she is awake. Good thing she has a big sis right?

She is so sweet and silly.
She is always smiling ( which is usually followed by a cry) and her sweet laugh just makes my heart smile. She bring us such joy. I cannot believe in a few months this little chunky monkey will be 1.

6 month visit ( 7 month old)
Weight: 21.2 lbs
Length: 27 3/4 inches
HC: 18.5
He checked her head twice but it was measuring a little big but Ellie's was big at that age too so I guess I just have big headed babies :)

Here are some things we want to remember about our sweet Annie girl at 7 and 8 months old
- the sound of your sweet voice. I love to hear you talk and babble. It makes my heart so happy,
- your sweet smile that is full of TEETH! IOU have 8 now and they are so cute!
- how you love your mommy and daddy. You light up and smile when you see us and we love you so!
- your oh so sweet rolls....all over your arms and legs. I could just eat them up!
- how you flap your arms when you get mad or see something you want. It makes me smile.
- waving bye-byebackwards. It's the cutest thing...ever.
-the sweet sounds you make when you are trying to fall asleep.
- how sweet it is when you and your sister play and laugh together. I just love, love, love watching this. I hope and pray that y'all will always love each other and be very best friends. Forever.
- you head full of sweet curls. The older you get the curlier and crazier it gets. It's the cutest!

My sweet little Annie M, we love you more and more each day.

Brush, brush, brush

Now that we are working on our 8th tooth....yes folks you read that right...8!!!
We decided it was time to start brushing those pearly white.
She just loves brushing them too. She sits so still which is really unusual for my little fanny girl!

Pink Party

So, Ellie has really been into the Birthday thing lately.
We had said we were not going to  have a big party this year but we did.
She would just constantly talk about her party...her pink party.
So we had a pink party. And it was fun!

Here are some pictures from our fun, pink party!

Ellie is three!

It's just so hard to believe that three years have gone by since this precious little baby girl was born.
Three sounds so big and old. But I want her to stay little forever.
She is growing into the sweetest little girl.
I just love to hear what she has to say everyday. She always keeps us laughing( and moving too) she is a busy body and loves to go.
She loves to play in her kitchen and is always making something yummy for us to eat.
She loves playing with Annie and has always and I am not exaggerating...always been sweet to her.

She is full of questions and I cannot even begin to tell you how many times a day I answer " what are you doing?" And "why?" I know I complain but I hope she asked that forever because I want her to be curious and learn and wonder about the world around her.
She loves to sing and dance.
She loves to go to the park and swinging is her favorite.
She loves reading books and she likes to " read" too.
She also loves to be tickled. You will tickle her until she can't take it anymore then she will take a break and say " tickle me some more"
She loves to hear stories. All kind of stories. Her eyes just light up when you tell them to her. Her favorite stories to hear are when mommy and daddy were little.
She is great at riding her bike and loves it!
One her new favorite things to do is to ride her four wheeler or her " motor bicycle" as she calls it.
She loves to be outside and is always picking flower for me....which melts my heart.

I just love watching her grow and change.
She wears me out somedays...but I quickly remind myself she will not be little forever.
As quick as time has gone already... She will be 10 before I know it.

I love this little bit more than I ever thought possible.

On the move...

In the cozy coop...
Little Miss Fanny Pants had a time being pushed around the house by whoever would push her.
She loved her new mode of transportation :)

Easter 2013

Easter this year felt a little different,
We were excited to celebrate our Risen King but had heavy hearts with the loss that our family has been through. We stayed busy though and did our traditional Easter stuff.
It was fun watching Ellie and seeing her get into the eggs hunt and dying and EATING the eggs. I know next year Annie will be just as excited!

Here are some pictures from our Easter weekend.

Life Lately.

Life around here these past few weeks has been full of ups and downs.

We have had to say goodbye to a brother in law and a very special uncle.
Tragedies like this always have a way of remembering how fragile and precious life is and how we should savor every.single.day. because we do not know when it will be our last or the last of somebody's we love dearly. It hurts so badly to think about all the people that are aching because of these losses but I know that He is the great comforter and will bring our family through this.

We have also been reminded about how sweet and special life is as we celebrated our sweet Ellie Reese turning three. I still have a hard time believing how fast the time is going. Somedays I just want time to stand still so I can soak in all the sweetness and happiness that our two sweet,  precious
girls bring us. Wouldn't that be great?!?

We are ready for things to slow down around here.
Things have been so busy around here, between a beach trip, Easter, birthday parties and two growing girls....I have a lot of catching up to do!
