Beach Trip

We made a long weekend trip to the beach with Awmaw and Papaw and Emy last weekend and we had a great time!!

We had a few things to pick up the morning before we left and Ellie and Annie decided they needed to shop too :)

Ellie had to try out her her googles before putting them to use the next day.

We finally made it and before they could swim mom made them take pictures.

And more pictures...

Annie was pretty happy to see the water and hear...you can get in now!!!!

Time for sand castles

And more sand.

They built this great castle. Impressive?!!?

That night we ate at Lamberts. Ellie thought it was the best place ever and caught roll after roll.

She could not believe they actually threw food there!!

Annie was pretty good at catching rolls too

The next day we swam by the bridge... And swam with all the crabs!!
There were hermit crabs everywhere!

Our proof!

Ellies beautiful castle that she decorated with her seashells.

On Monday we rented a pontoon with a slide!

We rode it out to the island and swam and played and slid and ate lunch :)

Annie didn't care for the sliding but she loved her little ring float.

Everybody else had fun sliding though!!!

We ate dinner that night at our favorite.. Cosmos and I had to get a picture with my pretty girls :)

Annie's 1st Dentist Visit

Annie had her first trip to the dentist.
She acted like she was going to be scared and it wasnt go to go well but I gabe her a pep talk and then she told me " I'm not donna tie"  aka I'm not gonna cry and she was true to her words.

She climbed up in the seat like a big girl and had her teeth cleaned like the big kids just like she had been doing it all along.

I hope that the next visit will be as great as the first!

Sweet faces

I loves these sweet little girls...

So many times I catch myself just staring at them thinking ..." How did they get so beautiful? And sweet?!"

They are both such a blessing to our lives and I just love watching them play and learn and change every single day.

They have my ❤️

Summer Reading

We signed up for the Summer Reading Program at the library.
We have done this every year since Ellie was one and they always have some fun programs for the kids.

The minimum requirements per week is 10 books and it doesn't sound like a lot but to get both girls sit still and listen for that many books has been a challenge unless we read strawberry shortcake 10 time 😲

Last week the program was a juggling man.
The girls both really enjoyed it and now I have been catching Ellie trying to juggle and asking me why I can't do it.

waiting patiently.

I had to take the girls to my hair appointment with me this time and I was somewhat worried because it was right during nap time and I'm not sure what I was thinking when I scheduled it...
but they were so sweet and good...
this was my view while I waited under the dryer ♥️

Mcwane Visit

we visited mcwane center and we had not been in a while and we had a fun time!
we met my friend Ashlli and her two little boys which are both a little older than E and A and so they both had friends.

the new itty bitty magic city was what we were excited to see and it did not disappoint us.
I think the kids would have stayed all afternoon if it hadn't been nap time :)

there was a cow that could really be milked.

a vet shop

a fire department

and much more fun stuff to see and do.
I know we will be going back soon.

My Little Fish

Last week these littles did something that they should ( and were) very proud of.

They passed the swim test at the Y and now they can swim without a life jacket.

And here is the card :)

Ellie was so pleased with herself she has been talking about it all week long and telling just about everybody that we have a conversation with. I was so relieved that she passed. I was so nervous watching her take it and worried that she was going to fail but she did great!!

And this sweet little missy cheered them on from the side :)
