Austin

The day after out anniversary we headed to Austin to celebrate.

It was a long weekend there and we had a great time and were kids free for 3 days thanks to Awmaw, Papaw and Aunt Emi

Matt had a job to check on out there and I had shopping to do :)

Right outside of Austin is the largest outlet mall in the country... 

I told Matt to drop me off at one end and see how far I get. 

Let me tell you I didn't get far in 7 hours. My problem was this store right here. Pottery Barn, Potyery Barn Kids and William Sinoma...3. Hours. That's all I'm going to say about that. 

After shopping and hod checking we headed to Fredericksburg to stay.

It was a cute western town with a major German influence.

We had a great time there. Every place we are was delicious. There was lots to see and lots to do.

We stayed in this little cottage in the Herb Garden...

We visited and partly climbed this HUGE granite formation. 

We visited this wild seed farm...

And of course shopped some more:)

Then we went to Autim to explore ...

On Bikes!!

Ate some awesome food...

Watched and waited for the bats...

Then headed home to see our girls! 

Birthday celebration

A few weeks ago we celebrated Papaws birthday. 

The girls were so excited for the celebration. We made a chocolate cake which was fun and exciting too... As you could imagine with a 2 year of and 5 year old :)

We had a great night with our family that we love and 

celebrating with the Papaw that is so loved by Ellie and Annie! 

Garden Fresh

Last week was a great week for our garden.

This little girl was super excited that we were able to pick plums from our tree!!

We also had zucchini, tomatoes, peppers and...

Lots and lots of green beans!

Fathers Day

We spent Fathers Day at home with the best daddy EVER!

These girls are blessed with the kindess, sweetest, most patient daddy... I hope they realize that.

He cares about them and our family so much and I love that about him.

For part of his gift annie made him a coffee mug to match Ellies that she made when she was about Annies age. He was super excited to have a coffee cup from both of his girls :)

That evening we had my Dad over and had a fish fry. 

It was a great day celebrating Dads and all they do and have done for us! 

Carwash = Scary

The other day we drove through the car wash and Annie was not a big fan.

Ellie had her eyes covered on and off but she kept looking and waiting so she could tell Annie when it was "safe" to uncover her eyes ☺️

Sisters

These two girls are just the sweetest sisters.

I just love watching and hearing them talk and interact.

They really love each other and I think it's so neat watching watching their sweet lifelong relationship grow.

They have started calling each other sis and I think it's so sweet.

Ellie watches out for Annie and takes great care of her too.

Annie thinks Ellie is the greatest and looks up to her and love to be in the middle of what Ellie has going on :)

I hope they are able to remember a lot of these sweet times they share and it keeps them tight through the many stages of their lives.

11 years ago today...

11 years ago today...

I said yes to my best friend!!!

Many things have happened over those 11 years...

Many happy, some sad...

But the one thing I would not change is who stood beside me through it all. 

I love you more and more every day ❤️
