Ellie's Day

Ellie had a award ceremony and concert last week. She is wrapping up first grade and it seems like we just started and I blinked and now it's about over. They say the older the get the faster it goes by and this scares me.

She has been so excited about this day and has been singing her songs and practicing. In makes me so happy to see her so excited about these things.

She did so good. She looked so big up there it made my heart so happy and sad all at the same time. I love this girl so much and I am so happy and proud to be her mommy.

She also got an award for the math program they do at school and she could not have been more excited!

End of season

Soccer has come to an end.
This season was way different than last season ( in the winning department) but the girls seem like they had fun and that's all that matters right?!

We had cupcakes and trophies after the tournament to celebrate and so all left happy and all sugared up 😀

Mothers Day

This weekend was about as perfect as they come.
We had a agreat Saturday and a great Sunday.

We spent Sunday afternoon at my moms celebrating Mother's Day.

Here are a few pictures from our day.

And speaking of mothers 😀
I was looking for a picture yesterday and found this old picture and me and had to do a side by side of me and Henry.
What do you think about the resemblance??

Wednesday

Wednesday we had a busy day.
Annie had her beach day at school. We went up to eat lunch with her outside on our beach towels. It seems like just last year we went to do this with Ellie. It's crazy it's been 3 years.

Annie has a sweet little class. She loves her little friends and always want to hug each and every one of them when she leaves. She really has such a sweet little heart.

I always get so emotional at the end of each school year thinking about how we will never have this year back and how next year will be so different. Next year will be her last year at the Wee center... I just cannot believe it.

After our picnic lunch we went to the grocery store.
It was Henry's first time to ride in the car buggy and he loved it. He was happy the entire time we were in there which is a huge deal for him.

After the grocery store we picked up Ellie and headed to see our friends that had a new baby. It is so crazy how henry looks like a baby to me then I see a newborn and he looks like a giant 😀 I just need to stay away from newborns because it makes me sad thinking about how fast he is growing

Ready for summertime

I know it's going to be very hectic and messy and wild but I am starting to feel like I'm ready for a summertime break.
I'm ready for no homework, no lunch packing, no where are my tennis shoes, no husky pad signing, no in the car by 750 am...

Ellie's last day is not until June 2... we counted it up and that's 18 days...
I am sure after a week or two of this I will be ready for them to start back 😬 but now I am ready to be free.

And I think that they are ready too 😀

This weekend

This weekend was packed full of things to do. I don't think we could have done another thing if we tried. We had fun though...

One of my favorite things we did this weekend was have church outside. It was the perfect day for it and it felt just like how church should be.

The kids enjoyed it. They don't usually stay with us during the service time but being outside in the open made it easier for them to be there and less of a distraction.

After church they had three baptisms in the lake which was really neat to see and be a part of.

After church there was a picnic and games outside for the kids... what a perfect Sunday morning.

This was our selfie attempt... we will have to work on it 😬

8 months

On the 25 of April this sweet boy turned 8 months old.
Wow!!!
Time is going so quickly. Before I know it he will be turning 1...
He is really starting to show his little personality and it is so sweet. He spent the first 5 months of his life crying so these past few months have really been sweet and lots more enjoyable than his first few months.

He is more active and wild than the girls ever were. He is crawling all over the place and pulling up on anything that he sees.
He loves his sisters and does not want to be left out on any of the fun. That is why I think he doesn't sleep well because he thinks he is being left out of the party.

He has the sweeetest smile that just melts my heart. He says mama and dada. It really is just the sweetest thing you have ever heard. He just started clapping and saying "ehhh"
That soft, sweet blonde hair is growing and making him look so big and old..

Here are some things we want to remember about Henry at 8 months old
*yor three little teeth that have popped right in. The middle left one is crooked and I think it fits you just perfectly
*your sun sweet little arms with your rolls and nice little suntan.
*how you curl up your nose and snort in and out. It is so funny and so sweet
* how you love people. I honestly thought that you would want to stay at home forever and never go around people the way you were the first 5 months but you are very social and you LOVE being talked to and talked about 💙
* your fat little square feet. They are just perfect.
*how you sing to fall asleep. Just the sweetest sound.

How sweet Henry we love you so
