sunshine ahead

Since looking at the forecast for next week in Orlando we have been on a search summertime clothes. 

We went hat hunting for Henry...

We decided on the second one because I thought it would work better covering his ears 

We also stocked up on sunscreen and flip flops 😀

 
 

 

Satur-yay!!

Today was a good day...

Not so busy and rushed.

Marty and I went to eat breakfast

Then Ellie had her second soccer game 

I

Annie got to play with her friend 

We had a cousin tag along all day

 

And we ended the day with hot dogs and s'mores for supper 

This time next week we will be headed to a Disney trip!!! We are excited and ready to go!!!

I love looking at old picture of the kids and I also love trying to decide which or looks like who...

So when a old picture shows up on Facebook I have to do a side by side and see how much they look alike...

On the left is Annie and the right is Henry. I would say they could pretty much be twins except for their eyes.

 

daylight savings...

I have a love hate relationship with the time change. The extra daylight is great in the evening... it is even greater when it's not freezing outside and we can enjoy it...

But I hate hate hate the tiredness I feel each year when the time changes. I was so tired Monday I had my pajamas on by 330...

 

So now this week I am depending on depending on caffeine and sugar to carry me through this week. 

 

We made it!!

We made it to the weekend!!!

I feel like it's a reward for making it through the week. 

We have a busy day planned for today... starting with Ellie's first soccer game! I will post on that soon 😀

I always hear from this little one.. " would this be a good picture?!" Or "take my picture mommy!!" 

Then I get my phone to take a picture and her eyes are all over the place...silly girl.

All the kids including Henry love the bath. I have found that it is so much easier to bath them all together IF everybody cooperates. And they do most of the time... and it's very sweet and fun most of the time ( again... note Annie's eyes)

Ellie had open house at her school this week. So I went to take a picture and wondered... when did she start looking like she was 16?!? 

  

 

Yesterday she has pj day at school and was beyond excited about this. Off she went slippers on and all 😀

 

 

This little guy has just been the sweetest little thing lately. He has really started to cut up and laugh and giggle. It is so much fun. I love watching him sleep and spend to much time doing that. It's just so sweet and peaceful. He looks just like a little angel. 

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Morgan's 3rd birthday at the park. It was a fun time celebrating and catching up with old friends 😀

This is how I feel about Springtime and the warmer weather...

 

However I did hear some very sad news about the weather that starts with the letter s... so let's all hope and pray that won't happen. 

We have been making it around here... some days better than others..

My sweet friend Betsy has been trying to get pregnant for many year and now she is and she had her reveal party the other day. It was so fun and so cute AND it's a girl!!! 

 

We met some friends at chuys for lunch. It was good to visit and catch up and see how big the kids grown 🤗

Henry had his 6 month check up.

21 pounds and 1 oz chunk right here ❤️

 

 

Ellie's school celebrated Dr Suess birthday. Ellie dressed up...

 

And these came in the mail this week 😀🎉

 

6 months

Today my last baby is 6 months old...1/2 a year...

So.hard.to.beleive.

These past 6 months have been some of the hardest months I ever remember. He has not been the easy going third baby boy I envisioned... but of course I still think he is perfect and  love him to pieces. 

He has started getting somewhat better and when he has "good" days and when he has those days my heart is just so happy and I want him to stay in this stage forever. 

He is one wild little monkey and is always moving or making noises or trying to get something. I feel like he is much more different than the girls. 

When he smiles his whole face just lights up and it is seriously the sweetest thing you have ever seen.

He loves to go and be outside and see and explore. He is so close to crawling and I know things will really change when that happens. 

    

Here are some things we want to remember about you at 6 months. 

- your smile. It just makes me so happy

- you sweet, soft blond hair. It's growing so quickly and starting to grow over your ears and I think it's the sweetest. 

- your squishy legs. I LOVE seeing you in shorts with those sweet little legs

- how much you love your sisters. You love to play and "talk" with them. It is so very sweet. I hope and pray y'all will always be sweet and love each other. 

- how you love being right in with everybody. You don't want to feel like you are being left out or left behind. 

- how you always have to be moving or squirming. I'm sure it's because you are a boy 💙
