15 Months

On the 6th of July little Miss Ellie will be 15 months old....That is so hard for me to believe!

15 months does not sound like a "baby" anymore...

She is so sweet and so innocent she just melts my heart. Her "new" smile it just the cutest thing in the whole wide word and you cannot help but smile when she does. I cannot believe that not long ago she was a tiny, helpless newborn baby. She is growing and learning so fast...and its so fun to watch her change and grow but it is bittersweet because I know she will never be little again.

Her 15 month Checkup is still a few weekd ago...so I will update her stats when we go to the doctor.

She has started talking alot and its so sweet to hear her sweet little voice saying "real" words.

Here are some of her words:

Mama, Dada, Jack, Sock, Bottle, Shoe, Flowers, Outside (side), Duck, Dog, Uh Oh, Thanks, Chair, Dog, and a lot of other things I really cannot make out yet but she knows what they mean :)

Here are some things we don't want to forget about our sweet Ellie Reese at 15 months

* The way you love to give sweet kisses...You have figured out that kisses make sounds and you do your best to try and imitate that sound...its so sweet.

* The way you have to smell every flower, shrub, tree...basically anything green you smell it.

* Your soft sweet now very blond hair. I just love the way it smells after your bath when you are taking a nap!

* The way you love to be read to. You absolutely LOVE books. You just back your little bottom down and sit down in my lap and let me read to you...It is so sweet!

* How you love your buddy Jack! And he loves you too. If he even thinks there is a chance of you coming to play with him he will not go outside!

* How you LOVE to ride the Gator with your Pawpaw. Anytime you hear " Go Ride" your ears perk up!

* The way you loves shoes, bracelets, necklaces, and purses. You love to get my purse and pull it around the house!

* How you love Elmo. As soon as you hear his music you just start bobbing your sweet little head back and forth and dancing!

* How you ADORE being outside! I really do think you would live outide if we let you :)

* Your sweet little rolly legs...I could just eat them up with a spoon!

* How you love to tickle our feet...You say " cickle, cickle!"

* Your sweet little suntan....and your white spots from all your sweet litle rolls. I just think this it the cutest thing EVER!

* How you say "Mmmm" if you are eating something you love!

* The way you crickle up you nose and try to laugh when you hear me say something is funny...It is the sweetest thing ever!

My sweet little baby....

A Play Place

The past two Wednesdays we have been going to an indoor play area called..." A Play Place"

I know how original....

Well Ellie loves it!

She has the best time running around playing with all the kids.

She has no fear and she loves going down the BIG slides all by herself!

But her VERY favorite thing it this battery powered train!

She stayed on this thing forever and just went round and round and round.

And the best part about " A Play Place" is that both times we have gone, Miss Ellie has taken a 3 hour nap...yes thats right...3 hours! ( which is UNHEARD of for her)

So we will continue to go back to play place as much as we can!

Double Birthday Party!

On Sunday we headed up to Florence to celebrate these two little guys birthday...

Since they are only 13 months apart...they had a double party!

Ellie was so excited to see her cousins!

Before the party they had a little old fashion fun...

Playing in a box of course.

They always like the box better than the gift :)

The sad part about the day was the for the first 45 minutes of the party it poured down rain

And the party was at a splash pad so....

We had to do this for a while...

But the rain finally let up and we were able to play!

Ellie loved the splash pad.

We will have to visit the one here for sure!

Ellie also loved getting hugs from her cousin!

7 Years!

7 Short Years Ago...

Beach Trip

We spent an extended weekend at the beach and had a great time!

Ellie had so much fun playing the the sand and water!

I am convinced that she would live outside if we would let her :)

Anniversary!

So... today is our 11 year dating anniversary!

I know its corney we still celebrate...but I like it and its fun to remember back to the old days!

These pictures are super old and very blury...which is probably a good thing because you cannot see how young we actually look...like babies...probably because we were... Matt was only 15 and I was 16!

Sharing Spaces

So now Ellie thinks its a good idea to get in the pen with Jack...Yuck! I know but she loves it!

Stop and Smell the Flowers!

Ellie's latest obsession is smelling flowers...well actually anything green.

She puts her nose right in and takes a BIG smell!

She loves it.

So needless to say... it took us well over 20 minutes to walk through the garden center at Lowe's the other day!

Silly Stroller!

The other day Miss Ellie decided to plop her big bottom right down in her baby stroller!

She cracked me up trying to back up and sit down in the stroller....the wheels really threw her for a loop!

She looks like a giant babay!

Goats and Ducks

On night last week when Matt got home from work we went over to his Pawpaw Henry's house and saw his goats and ducks!

We has been wating to bring Ellie out there to see them because we knew she would LOVE them and we were right! The only problem was that we forgot her shoes and she was pretty mad she had to be held the whole time.

Mcdonald Play Place

Since the weather has been so out of control the past few weeks we have been trying to be creative and think of things we could do to stay cool. Well my creativity failed and we went with my sister and her kiddos to Mcdonalds! Miss Ellie had a time. She just thought she was something else climbing up and down the stairs and playing with every kid there.

She was tring to play with a couple of kids and I overheard them talking about her...

One little boy reached out to touch her and another little boy said " What! Don't touch her...she got slobber all over her!" then his little sister said " Uh...you can touch her...she okay...she just a baby!" Haha! Kids are so funny!

Birthday Party Saturday

Saturday we had a fun day with 2 birthday parties for 3 people to go to.

The first one was for our sweet friends Annie-Thompson and Jeremiah.

Their birthdays are just a few days apart and they shared a party at Pump It Up!

Ellie had so much fun!

She loved being able to run free and climb.

She also LOVED the slide. Matt rode down it with her a few times then she did it alone and smiled the whole way down! I recorded it...I just have to figure out how to upload it on here :)

Later that afternoon we celebrated Matt's cousin, Brandon's birthday party.

It was really warm outside...but Miss Ellie really enjoyed herself!

First veggies!

On Saturday we picked our very first veggies from our garden!

Two cucumbers and one pepper! YAY!

Staying Cool

We have been working hard at staying cool and little Miss L has been doing a pretty good job!
