Cousin time

As sad as it is... We don't get to see our cousins like we use to. So when we do... We are super happy 😍 

And we get lots of playtime in 😍

And we love on them and wish for more time with them 😍

Friday night at the drive in

Last Friday night we went to see Petes Dragon at the drive in. It was our first time at the new drive in. The girls really enjoyed in and did great!!! So I feel like we will be back!

Tooth fairy visit

The tooth fairy came!!!

And we had a very excited little girl 💗

Shopping with girls and the dentist

We had a few free hours between things planned so we went to the mall to waste a few and ended up in the dressing room in Belks. The girls love being in the dressing room, trying on clothes and watching themselves in the mirror. 

Ellie loved picking out herself some clothes and trying them on 😁😩 somehow I managed to talk her out of this outfit.... And told her she and I would go shopping alone when the weather cooled down some and ahe actually needed some blue jeans. Hopefully her style would have changed a little by then.

After the mall we went to the dentist.... 

And ended up pulling out Ellie's VERY first tooth 🎉

She was so excited for the tooth fairy to come see her 😀

Monday, monday...

Me and Mondays just don't get along. I wish we could just skip Monday....and Tuesday for that matter... And just go straight to Wednesday. I could handle that 😀

Our Monday morning started out looking like this....

But then we got going and got all glammed up...

And we ended up having a pretty good day eating lunch with Ellies kindergarten friends and then a visit to pump it up 😀

Two girls at the lake...

These two sisters were beyond excited to go spend the night with Awmaw and papaw at the lake this weekend. As soon as they realized it was the day to go they packed up their stuff and tried to wait patiently for them to arrive. 

From the pictures I got and the stories I heard...it looked like a fun and busy trip 

A party for Henry

Last night we had a little friend and a little family celebration for Henry. 

It was fun and exciting to get together and celebrate him 💙👶🏼

I got lots of diapers and wipes... Which is just what I needed and wanted 😀

The girls had a fun time this morning going back through all the gifts and looking at the new stuff for their new baby brother and also eyeing some things they want to use for their baby dolls 😀

Cousin Slumber Party

Wednesday night we had a fun, busy and LOUD spend the night party with AC and Jenna....

My plan was just have fun... Let them play... Hang out and maybe swim. Well miss AC had other plans and had drawn out a pretty extensive agenda. ☺️

The agenda was not followed but I do think they covered most things and most importantly had fun. 

We made homemade pizza and decorated cupcakes...

We also watched a movie...

I had bought some candy to make a candy tray for then while they were watching the movie but ended up skipping that part because I felt like there was already enough hyperactivity without more sugar involved. 

Yesterday we went over to swim and burn more energy until it was time for the fun to be over 😌

Summer Gymnastics

Ellie decided to go back to gymnastics this summer for her summertime sport. 

We ended up having one of her friends in the class with her. These girls had a great time with Ms Laura as their teacher...

For her fall class we managed to get Ellie and Bailey in the same class but we will be having a different teacher. 

Summer fun activities

We have been trying hard to do as many summertime, fun activities as we can this summer. I feel so big and unfun... That I feel like I need to bring them to do fun things to make up for it 😀☀️

Last week we went swimming, went to Mcwane, Pump it up and the splash pad. 

The girls were not too excited about visiting Mcwane again when they realized that their cousin Nolan was sick and couldn't make it but we managed to have fun and they played really well together. 

They were waiting in line together just like this. They are so sweet together sometimes it just melts my heart. 

Annie demanded her picture be taken mid lunch 😊

This was our first time for open play at Pump it up. They played for about 30 minutes and then told me they were ready to go and they were being bruised and scratched and it hurt worse than snake bites 😂 and made these kinds of faces. 

They eventually played with some other kids for a while and we ended up staying almost the full 2 hours which made me feel much better about the 15 dollars it cost to get in there. 

And we also visited the splash pad this week. We haven't been there this summer becasue it's so stinking HOT and I couldn't imagine going in the heat but Saturday was overcast and it seemed like a good idea. Well I'm glad it was cheap to get in there because they were only there for about 45 minutes before we were changing clothes and getting ready to leave. 

Now we have to think of more fun summer things for this week ☺️

Birthday party Saturday

Last Saturday we spent most of our day celebrating birthdays 😀

The first party was Ellies friend Brody from kindergarten. She had a great and and loved seeing some of her sweet friends from school. 

The next party was River and Rileighs party at the splash pad. It was fun for the kids but HOT for the adults 😩
