This little one took it all in and I think she would have stayed there if I would have let her :)
and after the long days we have as I just might have let her...
For a little while at least :)

Mcwane

Birmingham Mommy had a 20$ off membership coupon and I have been meaning to renew ours so we made a trip down there Friday to renew and play!

We had a great time minus sand in the mouth, a few melt downs and a bossy first grader :)

Thankful

With the crazy year we have had....
With the loved ones we have lost....
And the ones that our hearts ache for now.....
It's easy for me to get down, overwhelmed and sometimes just plain sad.

But today Ellie and I made a thankful poster just like we did last year and it got me thinking about all the things we are blessed with and all the things I really am thankful for.

- I am thankful for Jesus. Without His unending, unfailing love I would be nothing. I am thankful that He loves and truly cares for me no matter what.  I am thankful that I know that I am His.
- I am thankful for Matt. He is my very best friend. He is my sound voice and my rock. I am thankful for his love and passion for Jesus. I am thankful for his example of what it is to me a true follower of Him. I am thankful for the wonderful daddy that he his to Ellie and Annie. For his unending patience and love that he shows them every single day.
- I am thankful for my beautiful babies. I am thankful for Ellie's little angel like voice that sings beautiful songs about Jesus. I am thankful for Annie's sweet amen after our prayers. I am thankful that God blessed me to be the mom to the sweet, beautiful little girls. I am thankful that I get to tuck them into bed every night and wake up to see there face every morning.
- I am thankful for my family. Although things are it always perfect I am thankful that we have each other.  I am thankful that God works in those that we love as well as our own lives to restore us and make us perfect through Him.
- I am thankful for our church. I am thankful for the relationships that we have there. I am thankful that we have people we can walk with through this life here on earth. I am thankful that we have friends that we can tell we are struggling and they love us just the same.
- I am thankful for our home. I am thankful that Ellie and Annie have a safe, comfortable home and that they know that no matter what they can always come home and feel accepted and loved.

Praise The Lord. Give thanks to The Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.

Silly goose

This little girls is so silly and keeps me laughing.

Donut day

We got ready extra early yesterday and took a trip to the donut shop before school.
I am very ashamed to say that we ordered a dozen assorted donuts and the box was empty when we left. I am sure the kids teachers really appreciated that!

3.5

**********************
October 6th little missy turned three and a half.
I cannot believe that she is more than half way to four.
It just tears my heart up to think about this little girl growing up and not being little Ellie anymore.
She as to specify to just about everybody that we meet that she is three and a half and not just three.
She is acting and sounding older every day.
Her vocabulary always surprises me.
Today she old me that Annie could not play with her kitchen because she would destroy it.
The other day he way explaining something to me and  I said" that's right, Ellie."
And she said " is that exactly right?"
She makes me laugh.
She is the sweetest little girls ever and makes me smile every single day.
Her imagination is wild and she loves to talk about the craziest things.
Well....she actually loves to talk about anything.
One of her favorite parts of the day is story time at bedtime.
She came make a 5 minute story last 30 because she wanted to know all the tiniest details about
everything we talk about. Part of this is because she is trying to avoid the actual bedtime and part is
because she is just very detailed.
We were in target today and she noticed that the isles that were lit up were the ones that were open and the ones that were not light up were closed. I think that's pretty smart!
She has the sweetest little heart.
She has started to talk about Jesus a lot and I just love hearing what she has to say.
She was laying in bed the other night and said " God loves in our heart....God lives in everybody's
heart." The things she says just melts my heart sometimes.
She has started telling us randomly that she loves us and I just think that is the sweetest thing EVER.
She is just so precious and innocent and I never want that to change.
She is and has been so independent.
Everything is..."I can do it by myself " or" only I can do it!"
She can get in the car and buckle herself up she can dress herself and put her shoes on all by herself.
She can wash her hair herself  by herself and brush her hair.
She has also learned how to pour her own milk!
Pretty good for a three and a half year old!!!

This sweet little girl has changed and blessed our hearts forever
I love this little one to pieces.

Pink party 2013
