Snow day

I was going through my pictures and realized I never shared our snow/ ice day  pictures.  The girls were unbelievably excited for this. We of course didn't really know what we would get and didn't want then to get their hopes up.
It was one of those that you have to wait all day for.... it finally started snowing around dark. It seemed like it snowed more than it did. We really got more ice than anything but we managed to have fun in it 😀

Lately

We have not had a lot going on the past few weeks but somehow I always feel busy. The weather has been really nice for January and so we have made a few trips to the park.

Henry checked out the park swing for the first time and LOVED it... as you can see.

We had not been to Mcwane in some time so we made a trip downtown and had a fun time.

Annie had PJ day at school and was beyond excited to wear her pjs to school.

Rosemary the class pig cane home to stay with us for an extended weekend and we had to do lots of fun things with her... according to Annie. I was pretty happy to see her go on Tuesday.

We met our cousins st the park and played...

Ellie cut her hair at school because it was getting in her eyes. When I asked her if anybody saw her she said no. I also asked her where she put the hair and she informed me " my pencil pouch"... that girl.

I started a new workout video which has made me incredibly sore... but I had these 3 alongside me for my first time.

I cannot believe that January is almost over (praise!!!) and soon it will be February. I am ready for winter to be over and got spring to be here.

4 months old

On Christmas day this little sweet thing was 4 months old.
Wow those 4 months sure have flown by...

He is very social and loves to be talked to and be in the middle of the action... but at the same time he is very sensitive and gets startled with loud noises and sounds.

He has the sweetest smile and will smile at just about anybody who talks to him. Hos smile lights up his whole face and melts my heart ❤️

He loves his hands and is already teething. We can feel 4 teeth that feel like they are not to far from coming in!!

He is a solid little fella but he doesn't know or care...
He wants to be carried around all the time. He is happiest when he is attach to our hip...

We went on the doctor last week for our 4 month check.
He weighed 18.7 pounds (93)
And was 26.75 inches long (95)

Here are some things we want to remember about you at 4 months...
- your  sweet happy smiles... it makes your face light up.
- your sweet ears... Ellie says you have elf ears
- how much you love baths... you kick and kick and splash
- how you love to play with mommys hands...it's so sweet.
- how you live your sisters. You love to go in their room and hang out with them... I wonder how long that will last.
- your sweet laughs... you are very ticklished. Your biggest tickle spot in under your arms and on top of your knees.
- your sweet soft hair. It's growing and it's very light and soft and sweet.
-your rolls... you have lots and I just love them.

Sweet Henry... we love you so!

Christmas

I still cannot believe that Christmas is over and it's January.
January is my least favorite month out of the year. It's so cold and wet and LONG...

But it's still still January no matter how much I don't like it... so I will just blog about Christmas 😀

We had a very good Christmas. We worked hard to slow down and not do and go as much as we normally do... and I think we did good with that. We had fewer get togethers and spent more time at home which was super nice.

It was sweet celebrating Henry's first Christmas. I know that he was not aware that it was his first... but it's something I will always remember.

We went to my moms Christmas Eve. This was new for us. We have spent just about every Christmas Eve in Mississippi at Granny and Grandaddy house with our cousins and aunt and uncles. I know the important thing is that we are together... it's just hard to get use to things changing.

We woke up at our house Christmas morning to see what Santa had brought...

Everybody seemed happy and content with santas presents and were very eager to put them to use...

We spent the afternoon of Christmas at Matts parents. Christmas Day was a warm and pretty day...I think the high was near 70. We spent time swinging and playing outside.

what a great ways to spend the day 💗

I'm still here!!!
I'm just trying to get over the fact that Christmas has come and gone and it is 2017 now and school has started back 😩
But really... we have been busy with many things and we are excited what 2017 bring...
I will be back to post on Christmas festivities soon..
But for now it's back to watching the snow storm of 2017
