B.F.F.

Cookie Monster

Ellie got into the chocolate chip cookies the other day and ended up looking like this.

2 Year Check - Up

As hard as it is to believe, Ellie had her two year old check up a few weeks ago.
It seems like not too mong ago we were bringing her in there for her newborn check up right after we went home from the hospital...how time flies!

She did great. The only time she cried was when they stuck her finger for blood and even then it took her a few seconds to start crying.

Her 2 year old stats:
Weight: 28 lbs 4 oz
Height: 35 inches
HC: 19.2

She was kind of uncertain of the scale so once again I had to take a picture of the scale once she was off and safe :)

She was so funny while we were waiting for Dr Harmon to come in.
She could hear him talking in the other room and kept making the funniest faces.
Then she started saying " Dr Armon!!!..Are you Dr Armon!"
It was so funny. But of course as soon as he came in she was quiet as a mouse.

He said she looked great!
And we don't have to come back for another check up until she is 3!
That is hard to believe....I know we will be back before then!

Here are some things we always want to remember about you at 2 years old:
~ how you loves to be tickled and say "mo,mo!" before we can even stop
~ How you are little miss independent. Before we can even get to the car you start saying "aself" to let me know that you want to get in the car seat all-by -yourself
~ How you love Jack and love to play with him and find sticks for him to play with. You also love to yell " Bad Boy Jack!"
~ How you like to put mommy to sleep and you sing Jesus Loves Me. To hear your sweet little voice singing just melts my heart.
~ How you love ice cream sandwiches and any hour of the day you say " icedeam samwich?!?"
~ How you love for your mommy to put you to sleep....when we start talking about going to bed you always say " Mommy rock baby, k?!?"
~ How long and sweet your hair is getting. It makes you look more like a 2 year old and less like a baby and this makes my heart sad
~ How you walk up to us and hug our leg and say " I yub you mommy" I love to hear those sweet little words coming from your heart and it just makes me want to cry
~ How you love the outside and love your playset. You say " Swing" and move your hands back and forth
~ How you look just like a little angel when you sleep

We love you more than you will ever know sweet little Ellie Reese...

Camp Sumatanga

Even though there was no water in the lake...

We still had a great Saturday at Camp Sumatanga!

Ellie thinks that eating outside is the best thing in the world so she was just as happy as she could be when when had our picnic to eat outside!

Doctor in Training

Saturday Fun

We had a great Saturday morning at the first Pepper's Place of the season!
Ellie loved getting to see all the different dogs and playing on the steps!

We left there and went to Whole Foods.
I let Ellie have her own buggy and she was WILD!
Its like she thought she had to run with it everywhere we went.
I saw another mom there that had her little girl in a car attached to the buggy and I was thinking...now why didnt I do that instead!?!

Beach Pictures

We went to the beach a few weeks ago and one of Seth's friend took our pictures while we were down there. We got the CD and they are SO great!

Ellie's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a great time on Saturday celebrating Ellie's second birthday with lots of friends and family. We had her party at the soft park in Trussville and I think it was a hit...especially for Ellie. She did not even want to stop and open her presents! We had a Easter / Bunny theme and I think everything turned out good!
I tried to take as many pictures as I could...some are from my camera and the ones that look amazing and unreal are from our sweet friend Kim's camera!
