fall break and a zoo trip

A few weeks ago the girls were out of school Monday and Tuesday for fall break. It was a fun little break and so nice just to take it easy and slow in the morning. 

On Monday we really did not do much. We stayed around the house and then met some friends at the park in the afternoon. 

Ellie and I did go to Walmart later that night to get her a scooter. Once we got there she was determined that she was going to get a skate board instead. I tried and tried to talk her out of it and told her bad things happen on skateboards.... she did not want to hear it. So I gave in. We were just about to check out and she was riding it and fell off of it and busted her lip and her gums... there was blood everywhere. I really though she had lost one of teeth... but everything was intact. She quickly decided to put the skateboard up and get the scooter instead. 

One of the days we were off we met Whitney and Nolan at the zoo for the day. It was fun and very exciting with three kids!! 😀

They had their Halloween decorations up to and so that was super exciting too. 

 
 
 

1 month old

At one month old this boy is oh so sweet. 

Here are some things you are doing and we want to remember about you at one month

- you are staring to smile and interact with us. It really is so sweet and we love when we catch one of your sweet smiles.

- the way you sweet new baby skin feels. I could just rub it and feel it all day long. It is the sweetest.

- your hands and your feet. They are so soft and so sweet and I know they won't stay like that for long so I try to get all the kisses I can out of them now.

- how you love you sisters and how they love you. 

- how you love to be held and snuggled but are very particular about how you are held. It's your way or you will be screamed at!!

- how we love welcoming you and adding you to our family. We didn't know that you were missing but now that you are here we cannot imagine our lives without you. 

We love you so much sweet Henry James. 

 

Well check ups

We went to the doctor a few weeks ago for a Annie check up and a Henry check up.

It was Henry's 4 weeks check up. 

Weight: 12 pounds 8 ounces (93%)

Length: 22 3/4 inches (94%)

He said he looked great and was doing good and that he expected him to be less dusty around 2 months 🙏🏻

Miss Annie had her 4 year check up. She is growing so fast and really is just the sweetest little girls. She is so prissy and just lives in a princess would. I just love her little self so much

Weight: 39 pounds (73%)

Height: 40 3/4 inches (79%)

Annie had to get 4 shots and not one tear was shed. I could not believe she did so good. 

Henry had to get one and it was very sad and pitiful. 

Happy Monday

After lots of tears yesterday it made my Monday much better to see this smile

Hey Yes, I do realize that October is half west over now but September was to sweet not to share some memories.

We all spent lots of time staring and getting to know this sweet little face. He is not the easy third baby that people have told me about but he is very sweet and has stolen our hearts

I celebrated a birthday!!!

Then 3 days later, Annie celebrated one too!!

We had lots of snuggle time...

Lost more teeth and had more visits from the tooth fairy 

Walked to our new school

Soaked up the last of summertime 

Had newborn picture taken...

Had an Ariel birthday party 

Spent lots of time outside and just trying to slow down and soak it all in

And spent lots of time loving on this little guy...

I never got around to posting first day of school pictures... since the very next day we had a baby... but I wanted to go back and post because they were so cute 😍

Both of the girls had a pretty good first day of school. When Ellie got in the car she cried a little which was really hard for me but now looking back it was an overwhelming day and I'm glad it's over...

 

They both love school now and enjoy going which makes me happy too 😊 

 

 

Meet Henry

On August 25, this sweet little guy was born. He weighed 8lbs 10 oz and was 21.5 inches long. He has added even more joy and excitement to our family. 💙
