Weekend...

This weekend was nice but way too quick...
And once again it's Monday and I wishing it was Friday.

We did a little target shopping and I had a super cute little helper :)

Friday night Ellie went to her friend Helens birthday party! She was ready to go at 4 and it didn't start until 6 so she had to find so to do to kill a little time. Making a block city is the perfect way to pass time!

Yippee!
The cheapest I have bought gas in a long while so I had to take a pic!

Saturday morning we went shopping for a tree...

And then onto the Lego exhibit at the Galleria...

Even though I was more impressed with the Legos we still managed to have a fun time with the carousel and cookies!

We went to church yesterday morning and make our weekly trip to Lowes...
Luckily the girls love it there... At least for now :)

Then we took a Sunday afternoon run/ walk and enjoyed the cooler weather....

This week...

This week has been moving very slow to me.
I can't believe its only Thursday. I feel like it should be next Thursday :)
We have not had much going on around here to talk about except the cooler weather which has been amazing!!

The rain finally stopped on Sunday and our back yard swimming pool addition looked like this after all the rain :) Jack thought we had dug it out just for him.

These sweet little faces have been enjoying school this week. They looked as cute as could be on Tuesday and I had to get a picture... Even if it was in the car.

I painted our kitchen cabinets this week!
I got the idea in my head a few weeks ago and couldn't stop thinking about it so I did it!!
I used made by me chalk paint in Mocha Accent and used the Valspar glaze to finish it.

I was super excited with how they turned out.
It makes the kitchen look so different.

Last night we enjoyed a evening run and picnic and play at the park.

Things are always more fun when he is around ❤️

Daddy is the greatest pusher with his super swings as he calls them.

We were waking home and saw this HUGE tree and had to stop for a picture. It looked like it belonged in the redwood forest

Perfect way to end the day 💕

Annie's First Day of Pre 3

The next day miss Annie started school.
She was very excited too!

But unlike her sister she was not as cooperative with the photos :)

❤️❤️

Here they go!

Annie walked right in and started playing.

We also had our first day of school ice cream treat with Annie but we opted for drive through because Annie said she was too tired to go in,

First day of Kindergarten

It finally came!

The day I have been dreading since the day she was born school let out in May
My sweet baby big girl started kindergarten

And of course we had to make the morning extra special and make sprinkle name pancakes. ❤️

She was so super excited and did not want anything to slow us down that morning so she was very cooperative with the pictures!!!

Daddy even stayed home to see her off on her first day ❤️

We debated walking her in or dropping her off in carline but she was devasted by the idea of not getting to do carline her first day.

And off she went... Just like that 💗😭

After school we had our traditional ice cream date
She said school was good and she did so many fun things it was hard to remember them all but her favorite was singing the silly song and dancing....

Little missy was happy to have her sissy back.

She brought her camera along and made sure I said cheese :)

Meet the teacher and night before school

Tuesday we had meet the teacher.
We brought a little treat along for our new teachers.

Ellie told me on the way in that she already knew her tracer Ms Wendy so she would not be shy about meeting her.

And she lived up to her word.
She just about talked her ear off :)

She had to sit down and try out her new desk ❤️

After soft play for the kids and a parent teacher meeting for the kids we used our few extra minutes before meeting Annies teacher to take some pictures.

She looks so BIG here.

❤️

Then we headed over to Annies room to meet her new teachers Ms Cassie and Ms Anna

Annie hopped right into playing and seemed to love her classroom.

That afternoon we went for a girls trip to get our fingernails painted for our exciting first day of school!

They both chose blue... Like Elsa.

Then we went to eat supper at the Japanese steakhouse for even more celebrating of our new adventure of kindergarten

At home clean and ready for bed.
Me and annie were feeling sad about Ellies first day.

Ellie was so excited to finally be starting !!

My sweet baby girl ❤️
