2.5 years and 1 month old

1 month old.

Our sweet little Annie turned one month on October 6th.
It is unbelievable to me how fast time goes.
I cannot believe that this time last year we did not even know of this sweet little baby.
Now I cannot imagine our lives without her.

At 1 month old:
Weight: 12lbs 5 oz (95%)
Length: 23 inches (98%)

Here are some things we always want to remember about you at 1 month
- Your sweet and soft head full of hair
- The way your sweet little hands are just perfect. They look just like a baby doll.
- The way you love to sleep all curled up on our chest. I could sit and hold you all day long if I didnt have to chase your sister around :)
- What a sweet little snuggle bug you are
- How you already love and adore you sweet big sis
- All of your sweet little rolls...I could just eat them up!
- The sweet noises you make when you are trying to talk. The sound of your voice makes my heart so happy.
- Your half smiles...they make me smile!

Sweet Annie Morgan
We love you more than you will ever know. You make our hearts so happy and full of love.

2.5 Years

Our sweet Ellie Reese turned 2.5 also on the October 6th.
This sweet little baby of mine is looking more and more like a little girl everyday and it just makes me want to smile and cry at the same time. She is growing and changing right before our eyes...what an amazing thing to see.

Here are some things we want to remember about you at 2.5 for forever:
- Your energy. Its seems like you are always ready for anything. And with you one thing always leads to another.
- Your sweet butterfly kisses you give
- Your silly looks that you have learned to give. They make me laugh :)
- How much you like to have your back rubbed.
- How well you ride and steer your tricycle. Your daddy is teaching you well.
- Hearing you call us mom and dad. It sounds so grown up to hear it from your little mouth and I am not sure I like it or not.
- How you try and convince us that its not dark outside therefore its not time to go to bed :)
- How small your sweet little hand feels when I hold it.
- How you tell me " I had good day" everyday that I pick you up from school
- Hearing your voice singing. It just melts my heart and I could listen to it all day long.

Sweet Ellie Reese
You are such a swet little girl. Your heart is so sweet and loving and we thank God everyday for you.

Catch Up

So, I know it has been awhile.
The weeks have just kind of gotten away.
I'm not sure if I should blame my extra needy toddler who likes to "work" on the computer with me when it is out or my sweet but sometimes fussy newborn :)
But anyways...here is a little catch up on how we have been spending our days.

On the 6th of October,  Ellie turned two and a half and Miss Annie was a big one month old!
(I am working on a separate post for that)

Annie was finally able to take her very first bath in the tub...yay!

Napping...

Sweet smiles!

Fun at Homestead Hollow

Flying like a bird at Homestead Hollow

Really?

This sweet little snuggle bug is 4 weeks old today and I keep thinking...really?!?
Where is the time going?
Its like the days are so long sometimes but the weeks just fly by...it does not make sense at all.
She is still just as sweet as she can be. I could just eat her cheeks up with a spoon.
She has started to smile...already. And it will just melt your heart into a puddle.
We love you so... sweet little one.

Double Birthday Party

We went to Play Place and celebrated a double birthday party for Anna-Claire and Jenna.

Annie took it all in and was very interested in the whole thing :)

Ellie had a great time racing down the roller coaster over and over again.

Happy Birthday to sweet Jenna...who was not interested AT ALL in having her picture taken :)

And Happy Birthday to Anna-Claire :)

And a BIG smile from Ellie too who is very into "smiling" when she sees the camera

Picking Pumpkins

A few Saturdays ago we headed out and ended up at Williams Orchard picking out pumpkins to decorate for fall. Ellie was a great helper and we ended up finding some really pretty ones.
Here are a few pictures of one of my little pumpkins.
