Baby Rowan

Baby Rowan is here and my girls could not be more excited!!

They loved being able to meet her and see her...now that she is finally out of her Mommys tummy :)

Now all of our baby dolls are named Rowan

I know this baby girl will have lots of cousins who love her like crazy!

Family time

My aunt and cousin visited from England and South Korea last week.
It was so good to see them and catch up. We haven't see my aunt since last year but it has probably been about 6-7 years since I have seen my cousin Josh. We are the same age within a month and we grew up together.  He is now married and lives in South Korea and teaches English. It was great to visit and catch up. Here are a few pictures we took :)

Target

Target trips are the best when you go to the Target that has the kiddy buggy and you get hot chocolate!

She's got braids

I just love that Ellie let me braid her hair in two pig tails or now as it is called... Anna Hair :)
She actually kept it like that all day at school so that it huge for her because most days I pick her up everything that I have put in her hair is pulled out of her hair and her hair looks like a HOT mess.

Anyways I had to take a few pictures because I thought it looked so stinkin cute.

Happy 80th

Pawpaw James turned 80 a few weeks ago and we helped him celebrate!
Sounds wild and exciting rights!? Well whenever our kids are there it is ;)

Here is Ellie and Annie with their boy cousins :)

Ellie loves her cousin Les. He is so sweet and patient towards her. I think they look so much alike too.

Annie always loves a good ride in the old baby swing. It makes her look like a giant baby.

We had a fun night celebrating pawaws 80s!

These girls

I was looking back over some old pictures and found this sweet picture and then wanted to lay down and cry. It was really not that long ago but they look so little and have grown so much. It makes my heart happy that they have each other and I hope and pray that that stay close and sweet to each other as they get older and bigger.

Lowes trip

We took a trip to Lowes on Saturday morning.
Ellie was so so so excited to go because we were getting things to build/ rebuild her and her sister tree house/ play house. My sister has had a play set at her old house that she has been asking us to go and get and use it for the girls. We finally went to get it. It was a huge play set so we split part of it witt her and so we are adding to it and redoing it for Ellie and Annie. Ellie specifically is just so excited. She has been asking for a tree house for the longest time. And so she was very eager to,go,to lowes and get the goods to get things going :)

Craft time

These girls love to make things.
Just about every day Ellie will ask me... Mom, what are we going to make today?

Well we made some Valentines magnes and they had a big time with it.

Such a fun time that Ellie did. It even want to take time to smile at the camera...big surprise.

Annie game me a big sweet cheese :)

So now I have to find now things to make and create for my little artist :)

Old friends get together

Things have been so busy and time has just passed and it had been quite a while since we have seen our  little friends Blair and Paige.
It's always fun playing with these girls because they are both born just a few weeks apart from Ellie and Annie and I think that's so neat. I love watching and comparing them and seeing how they are alike and different :)

Both of the girls played really well together....

And we decided that we did not need to wait that long until we played again :)

Supers ready!

The other night we had a fire and hot dogs so I let Matt and the girls take over cooking for the night.
Ellie loves to cook anything in the fire and Annie loves to do anything Ellie is doing so they were both as happy as could be.

The hotdogs were great, the girls were happy and there wasn't much to clean up... Yay!

Watch her go!

This girl is so proud of herself for learning to ride without training wheels!
She is doing great and she has one proud momma :)
I really do love watching her ride. I can't believe her little self can ride like a big girl.
Watch her go!

AGC awards Night

A few weeks ago we went to an awards ceremony for Papaw James...it was for the AGC Hall of Fame.

here are a few pictures from our night.
The ones I got of Papwpaw James didn't turn out well because of where our table was located but we did get some group pictures I will have to try and get a copy of

Picnic snack

What a better way to spend a pretty afternoon than in the yard having a picnic snack...
With your sister...

And your dog ...

Where!?

Where have my babies gone!?!

These don't look like babies to my. They look like big girls and they need to stop growing so fast.

I told Ellie the other day that I was going to have to but a book on her head if she didn't stop growing and if that didn't work them I would have to put a brick on it. She looked at me and said " are you real mom?!"

Annie is torn between being a big girl or a baby.
She looks like a big girl.... But acts like a baby.
Sweet little bit...

It's hard for me to believe that Annie is 4 days away from the age that Ellie was when Annie was born. That just blows my mind. Ellie seemed so much older and bigger and grown up. I do t kmow if it's just Ellie's personalty or what but it's just hard for me to believe.

Circus!

Hip hip hooray!
It's circus day!

I had told Ellie about the circus and she was so excited about going.
I told her..." Guess who we are bringing with us " and she said "who!?!?"
I said "Annie!!! Because she has never been to the circus before."
Ellie said " ugh! That's not a surprise ! I thought you were going to say Rileigh or Jenna!"

They were both very excited about going once it came time to go.

We got there and had to walk a good ways to get in.
But the girls did know mind because the were being toted :)

Once we finally got in and got some snacks and got all my pictures...the circus started.

After about 20 minutes Ellie was asking when this thing was going to be over and after about 40 minutes Annie was asleep.  We kept Ellie entertained with food until intermission. Let Annie sleep until intermission... Then let them  both get up and get snow cones during intermission. Another 20 minutes into the show Ellie was ready to go. We did wait it out until the end of the last  show because Annie did NOT want to leave.

The good thing about the craziness is that I will. It feel guilty for skipping the circus next year and maybe even the next :)

Winter days at the zoo

Whe we actually have a pretty, warm day I try to take advantage of it.
We met some friend at the zoo the other afternoon and had a fun time there after we picked Ellie up from school. We hadn't been in a while...probably since boo at the zoo.. So the girls had fun just running around. Their favorite thing is usually always the snakes and the playgrounds and we visited both of them.

We did go to the sea lion training which we had never done before. It was very informal..but the girls seemed to like it...

Sweet girls had a good time...

Annie wanted to push Darcy in her stroller :)

We were tryimg to find the elephants. Sometimes they are hard...as you can tell by the look on Ellie's face because they are the same color as the rocks :)

One more cheeses before we leave !
