Work wedding

My friend Lauren from nursing school and work, got married last Sunday at American Village.
I had never been out there but it was really pretty.
The wedding was kid free so we were pretty excited!!
I never told Ellie we were going though because she has really taken a interest in wedding and would have been heart broken if she knew we went without her.

It was fun to get away with this guy even if it was just for the afternoon.

The reception was in the barn and had lots of great food. The sadest part of the night was that we didn't get to tatse the cake. We waited FOREVER for Lauren to come and cut it but they were taking outside pictures since it was raining before.

Weekend fun and thanksgiving number 2

So we had our very exciting trip to the grocery store on Saturday.
I am so glad Matt was with me. I don't think I could have handled it alone.
I'm sure Publix was happy to see us come since I spend 290 BUT SAVED 90!!! But they were probably even happier to see is go :)

Rileigh came to spend the night Saturday night and I made them a sugar tray to eat in their room. They loved it.
About a hour later Annie came to sit on the couch with me and told me her belly her and threw up. The next morning she ran a fever. She never got sick again. Thank goodness!!!
Matt and I had planned on going to south Carolina to see a job and spend the night in Augusta but little missy put a stop to that.

We went over to Papaw and Awamaws for Thanksgiving Sunday afternoonn for a Thanksgiving lunch. Rileigh came along.

And yes Ellie does have on summer clothes that are three sizes too small. That is her new favorite thing is to put on whatever whenever wherever no matter what. Sounds great. Right?!?

Annie is starting to refuse to look at the camera when I say "cheese" so this is the kind of picture I get :(

Gobble gobble

I love this time of year.
 Have I mentioned that before?
I love thanksgiving and knowing that Christmas is coming....
I love that food and the warmth and the family time that comes with this time of the year...
Just a little FYI

This morning the girls and I made this cute little turkey guy

 Isn't he the cutest!?!
I love his googly eyes...

Last night after Ellie's feast she let Annie try on all her Indian gear. Annie was so proud of her herself and did not want to give it back. There was was quite a bit of screaming involved but before all that I got these sweet pictures of them.

Love this one...

We are going to the grocery to tomorrow and I am pretty excited about it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the grocery store right before thanksgiving. I love the way it smells and the excitement of it right before thanksgiving. I really would prefer to go Tuesday or Wednesday before thanksgiving and I probably will go back just to sightsee. We are making at least one maybe two turkeys this year and crockpot dressing so that should be fun!

Happy weekend y'all!

Ellie's Thanksgiving Feast

Me and Ellie had a special time at her schools thanksgiving feast.
It was a fun time that I got to spend with her eating lunch with her and her class and just being with my sweet girl who is growing up way too fast...

Her class walked in with their Indian hats on...
I just love that sweet face of hers...

She and Kate Rush have been best friend since they were in the frog class( that's the class Annie's in now )

Her friend tucker sat beside her and be kept asking his mom why isn't Ellie eating her food.... Why is Ellie already eating cookies... In my mind I'm thinking... You choose your battles and today we are going yo eat cookies and cake :) and so we did and she still took a two hour nap!

Me and my sweet Elle belle

Silly faces

My sweet little Indian

All bundled up...

While waiting in carline on Wednesday when it was 19 degrees outside we just has to take a few pictures of baby Annie in her hand me down hat...

She gave me a few different faces to shoot :)

Baby lovin

My girls have some major love going for baby Morgan... Annie especially which I always find odd since she loves being the baby you would think she would feel threatening by another baby but that it not the case at all. She loves her.

The other night at small group baby Morgan was getting loved on all around.
The only time she cries it whe. I get her and laid her on her back so I could talk to her :)

Thanksgiving #1

It started Saturday night...
Our one of MANY thanksgiving celebrations...

Ellie fell asleep on the way there and we had trouble convincing her that she should join the food and fun...

My little eater Annie of course was ready and willing to dig right in and she did. We continues with our new tradition of a fish fry thanksgiving meal for the Harbison thanksgiving meal... Thanks what the Pilgrims and Indians are right ?!? Anyways... It is pretty good. Annie thinks so...

The girls always have fun playing with Les and Clay.
Here is my attempt at a kid group picture...

And one without Annie because it was 7pm and she doesn't cooperate with ANYTHING after 7pm

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Oak Mountain Birthday Party

Saturday morning we woke up and headed to oak mountain for a early morning birthday party for Owen and Olivia. It was at the top of the barn at the petting zoo and was super cute and super fun. The girls got to pet and fed the animals and run around as much as they wanted... Sounds like a great time... Right?!? sounds like a good nap in the future to me :)

Thanks to Owen and Olivia for a great morning with the animals :)

Here are a few pictures from our morning...

Spend the night

A few weeks ago uncle Seth invited the girls to spend the night over the Veterans Holiday.
They were pretty excited about it up until the day before... We said "Raise your hand if your going to spend the night with uncle Seth!!!" And they both just stared at each other.
Seth came to pick them up and they both went just fine and seemed very excited to be going.

Ellie packed her own bag. She did get everything that she was suppose to including two pair of panties and two pair of pajamas and then she packed her suitcase FULL of stuffed animals.
I tried to slip in a picture...

And she caught me...
And wasn't happy with me...

Matt and I went to eat and went to the bookstore. I kept thinking we needed I stay out so we could go pick them up. I really felt like Ellie would do just fine but Annie gets so fussy and clingy at night I thought there was no way she would stay.

We got many play by play text...
Turns out Ellie was the one who packed up her suitcase and tried to escape... Really.
She told Seth that he was going to keep her there forever and never let her leave.
She ended up settling down and fell asleep and said she had a fun time and would come back to stay again when she was 18 :)
Here are some pictures we got through the adventure :)

Saturday in the sunshine

Saturday was such a beautiful day. We had been sick all. week. long. And we were still trying to convince ourselves we felt better... but we sucked it up :) and spent the afternoon outside in the sunshine and went fishing.  And I'm glad we did. It was a great afternoon. We Matt caught quite a few fish and the girls had fun attempting to catch them and at with them once they were caught. Here are some pictures from our day...
