Little sis

Annie was wearing her little sis shirt and she looked too cute not to share!

Bass pro- take 2

 We tried again and succeeded!
We were able to see Santa and both of the girls were happy for the most part.

We also tried out some new toys.
Can't you tell Annie is just having a blast?!?

Bass Pro and Salt Ornaments

We had a fun time at Bass Pro shop attempting to see the guy in the big red suit...
However it didn't work out for us tonight because the line was WAY too long
so we will go back and try again :)

We did get to ride on the carousel twice and while we thought it would make up for not sitting in Santa's lap...we were reminded several times that it did not.

Here are a few pictures from our night.

And here are the salt dough ornaments painted!
I thought they turned out so cute.
I am sure I showed them to Matt no less than five times becuase I was so proud!
Now we just have to get them on our tree :)

Cuteness

This sweet little bit was all bundled up and ready for the cold and I just had to get a few pictures

Then I had to look back and reminisce when her sweet big sis wore this same hat...
It just made me smile!

Birthday Party

Thanks to Aunt Ashley...the girls got decked out in their Christmas shirts and we went to help celebrate Carson's 4th birthday.

Everything was decorated so cute and Ellie had a great time playing!

Happy Birthday Carson!

Salt Ornaments

We had a fun time with our cousins making salts ornaments and playing with the dough!
I had been wanting to do this for a while with ellie.
I figured she would love messing with the dough since she loves playing with her play dough so much and I was right. It was a hit with her...minus the fact that it tasted awful :)

They turned out pretty cute.
Now we just have to add some paint and ribbon and they will be ready for the tree!

3 Months

Today my sweet little Annie is 3 months old.
Time is going so fast...I just want it to slow down and keep her little forever.

She is such a sweet little thing.
I honestly think I could sit and hold her and snuggle with her all.day.long.

I cannot imagine our lives without her.
Her sweet little smile just melts my heart.

Here are some things we want to remember about you at 3 months
- How happy and smiley you are when you wake up in the morning. It makes 6:30 a little more bearable.
- How you have started to reach for things. You are getting so big and it makes me smile.
- Your beautiful blue eyes.
- How you have started to laugh out loud. I could listen to that sound all day long and NEVER get tired of it.
- Your sweet little feet. You have found them and you love to stare at them.
- How you LOVE LOVE LOVE your sister. I hope it stays like this forever. Whenever you smile at Ellie she says " Annie waugh to me!" She loves you so!
- How you love to lay on my shoulder or chest. I think you would stay like that all the time if my arms could handle it.

Sweet Nolan

We had a baby shower to celebrate the birth of sweet Nolan Ross...who will be here in just a few short weeks.

Everything was decorated so sweet and looked so nice!

We cannot wait to meet you Nolan

Pancake Breakfast

Last Saturday morning we had a great time at a pancake breakfast at church!
Ellie was so excited!

On the way to church she said " I wub Santa. I not cry"
She did not cry in her picture with him but she didn't look too happy about sitting in his lap either.

She We wrote a latter to Santa and I tried to get her to share it but I got this look instead.

Watching Santa tell us a story...

Chasing Santa in the door...

Catching up with sweet friends :)

We got to ride the Christmas Train!!

Miss Annie did alot of this...
Watching big sister with those big eyes...

And would you blame her eyes for being so big if this is what you see?!?

I think she might have had a little too much sugar.
Don't you?

Merry Christmas!

Sweetie Pie

"Just like my moobie"

Ellie LOVES her "moobies" as she calls them.
One of her very favorites is Tangled.
She just loved it.
Well the other night Mamaw and Pawpaw got Ellie a lantern to put up in the sky just like Tangled.

Ellie was prett impressed that they could do it like the "moobie"
I am sure she will be wanting more pretty soon!

O Christmas Tree

the friday after thanksgiving, we went and picked out our tree.
it was not a hard decision like it usually is.
i saw this man holding one up when we first got there and i said " i want that one if he doesnt get it"
as soon as he laid it down and got another, we picked that one up and that was that.
it is usually never that easy :)

ellie liked climbing all over the trees

annie just sat in her stroller and took it all in

ellie seemed excited but a little confused about the whole tree in the house thing but the next morning when she walked into the living room and the lights were on she said "wow!!!"

she did love putting the star on the tip top, with a little help from dad!

Shopping

This is the new "normal"
But I really kind of like it because it keeps her in one spot and quiet :)

Thanksgiving 1,2 and 3

We had our usual three Thanksgiving celebrations this year and as usual...it was great!
I love having the long stretch with Matt off and home with us..it makes me so happy :)

Our first Thanksgiving celebration was the Saturday before Thanksgiving with the Harbison's.

Since it was Annie's very first Thanksgiving she just HAD to wear her head dress passed down from her cousin Anna-Claire. Its so funny looking its almost cute :)
I know she will kill me for this picture one day but I just love it!

Ellie was sporting her very loved turkey dress from last year.

this picture just makes me laugh...poor Annie had just had enough

And Ellie again...

We woke up Thanksgiving morning and made our traditional breakfast of monkey bread.

Ellie had a great time making it but not so much eating it... oh well.
Maybe next year :)

Miss Annie sat in her Bumbo and watched very closely.

Ellie was very interested in the turkey and kept wanting to know what we were going to do with it.

After breakfast, we went over to Matt's parents to eat Thanksgiving lunch and of course it was wonderful. I tried to get a few pictures of Ellie and Annie in their pumpkin shirts before lunch while they were still clean.

Then on Friday after waking up early and getting just about all of our Christmas shopping done :)
We had Thanksgiving with my family.

Ellie was SO excited to see Rileigh!

And Jenna too!

Me and my momma

And Granny

We had a great time eating and visiting.
I made crock pot dressing and it was different than what Granny usually makes but I thought it turned out pretty good even though I burned the edges.

Ellie had a great time dancing to the Disney music and keeping us entertained.

And we also threw a birthday celebration in there too!

Gobble, Gobble!!
