Cooking Queens

Yesterday my Mom and I spent a large part of the day cooking casseroles to freeze!

For some strange reason this makes me really excited... I. know. its weird.

Anyways we made three different ones

1. Chicken Spaghetti

2. Chicken Pot Pie

But I am not gonna lie...ours looked much better than this picture :)

3. Enchilada Casserole

We ended up putting up about 18 pans of these all together...

I cannot wait to start eating them!

Good Books!

Because it had been way too hot to do anything outside I have been trying to think of things to do to stay cool....so after me and Miss Ellie read " Moo, Baa, LaLaLa" twenty million times and she goes to sleep...I have been reading!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie but I had not read the book until last week...I know!

It was so sad but so VERY good!

I am about 2/3 of the way finished with this book now.

Matt and I went to see the movie friday night and it was again...sad but VERY good.

I keep reading and reading but this book is pretty long and its taking me a little while :)

The next one on my "List" is this one my sister just finished.

She said it was great...so I am excited about it!

And LAST but not LEAST...

I just found out the the Emily Giffin the one who wrote this....

JUST finished another book...so I cannot wait until that one comes out!

Round and Round

Last week we met Laura and Blair at the Galleria to ride the carousel!

Both of the girls loved it!

The two that I tried to get of the two of them did not turn out very well either...

Homemade Gingersnaps

Happy Birthday Anna-Claire!

Last night we went to eat to celebrate this special little girl turning 5!

I cannot believe it has already been a year since this last post....

but it has....that just goes to show how fast time goes when you get old :)

We ate at a little pizza place and it had a arcade in it and Ellie had the best time!

She was just beside herself when Matt gave her a kiddy cup with Sprite in it...

She pranced all around so very proud of herself and her cup and her Sprite too!

I tried to get a picture of Ellie and Jenna...but this was the best I could get...

Matt and Brent had fun with this...but at least they were watching the kids.

Ellie looked so sweet and big the other day in her ladybug outfit that I just had to take a pictures of her.

It had been SO, SO good!

First day of School!

Today was the BIG day!

It was Ellie's very first day of Mother's Day Out!

I have been talking it up to her...not that she really understood it...but I tried.

My mom asked her the other day of she was going to school...and she just shook her head no...haha!

So we will see how she does when I pick her up today.

Hopefully her day will be better than when I left her this morning.

Meet the Teacher

On Friday we went to Ellie's Mother Day Out to meet her teacher.

She had fun seeing her room and playing with all the toys!

Decisions, Decisions...

So...I have really been wanting a new camera and have been looking around.

I know you can tell (by looking at my blog pics) that I for sure need a new way of taking pictures because they have been very fuzzy and blurry and just not good. Well that is because I have been using my phone camera and it stinks. I get very frustrated with my old camera because the battery runs out SO,SO quick on it and it has a really long delay on it too SO.....

I am hoping that for my birthday I can get a new one....

I think I have narrowed it down to these two...

Now I just have to pick the best!

Check-UP

Today we went to visit Dr. Harmon for Ellie's 15 month check up...one month late :)

She loved waiting in the waiting room with so many people to stare and smile at.

She thinks that EVERYBODY should watch and smile and play with her...I wonder why she would think such a thing....

She got on the scale like a big girl...without crying...

Weight: 24lbs 12 oz (77t%)

Length: 32 1/4 Inches ( 85th%)

Head: 19 inches (95%)

He said her head was big...but she has always had a big head...so no worries!

here she is reading her book to pass the time!

Overall he said she looked great!

So we are good to go for 3 more months!

Ready for Rain!

Yesterday when the rain came we got our rain boots out because we

were ready for some rain to help cool things down!

Ellie loves her boots...the only problem is she can hardly walk in them because they are so tall!

She will grow into them!

We did not get as much rain as I thought but at least we got to try out our boots!

Yay for Cupcakes!

Today after lunch with my sister, we finally headed over to this place....

I have been dying to try it out since it opened a few weeks ago....

It was SO good!

I got the lemon one.....

Peppers Place

The past few Saturdays we have been heading down to Pepper's Place early in the morning before it gets too hot!

Ellie loves it down there because there is so much to see and so many dogs to watch!

We have gotton some really good food there too!

This past week I got some homemade white bread and it is DELICIOUS!

I have almost finished the whole loaf by myself!

McWane Fun!

Last Friday we headed to Mcwane Center.

I have been wanting to take Ellie...because I just knew she would LOVE it...and she did!

I only did not have my camera with me... which has been the case alot lately...:( So I had to settle for blurry camera phone pics instead...Anyways...here are some pictures from our trip!
