Star student

Ellie was the star student last week at school and I know she was a great helper!

She looked so cute when I sent her off to school I just had to take a few pictures :)

Early mornings

Since 630 is apparently the new wake up time around here... We have been spending some time outside in the morning. It is so cool and nice early in the morning....

So after we send Daddy off with waves and kisses we enjoy the beautiful cool mornings for a little while :)

Pedicure!

Ellie had her first pedicure and she just though she was big stuff.

She picked out purple for her color and sat as still as could be while she was having them painted.

She was so proud of her purple toes!

Picnic Party

For Annie first party we decided on a picnic party.

It turned out to be pretty easy and so much fun!

I still cannot believe that my baby is one!

Thanks for all our sweet friends and family who helped make Annie's first birthday party so special!

12 months!

I am just more in awe of our Creator when I see how something can go from

In just 12 months...

This little bit is just lights up my day each and every morning.

Her sweet little smile is contagious....

I love the way she crinkles up her nose.

Her soft, sweet, beautiful curls just make me smile.

I love watching her learn new things each and every day.

She is a spunky little thing, but she is so full of love too it just melts my heart.

To celebrate her big day we started off with cinnamon rolls with a candle so we could practice blowing :)

We had a GiGi cupcake that our Aunt Ashley brought by for us.

Then we met some sweet friends at Chuck E. Cheese...yes...again.

Then we celebrated that night with dinner at home and more cupcakes :)

We went to see Dr. Harmon last week for our check up.

She ended up having a double ear infection so no shots for now.

Weight: 23 lbs and 13.5 oz ( 93%)

Height: 30.5 inches ( 90%)

Here are some things I never want to forget about you at 12 months

- the sweet way you say mama...I think it's just the sweetest sound ever and it just melts my heart...even if it is at 2 am :)

- how you love to play with the big kids. You try so hard to keep up and before long you will.

- your sweet, soft curls. They are just the sweetest.

- how you give sweet sugar with your mouth wide open :)

- how crazy you are for your daddy. You do not like him leaving for work in the morning and always grab his legs and fuss at him until he pick you up.

- how you love to dance in your carseat with your sis...it's so funny to watch.

- how you love love love to swing. Your whole face just wrinkles up when you are swinging high!

- how well you can walk! You are trying to run...but not there yet. You also love to try and jump like Ellie but your feet never leave the ground. 

- how you call for your big sister Ellie. You adore her and she is so sweet to you. I love watching you too play. I am so thankful that God gave y'all each other .

So...September 3 I turned thirty.

Matt has been calling me thirty since I turned twenty eight...he said you round up :)

Well BIG surprise....

He had me a surprise party!

I was really so,so shocked and had no idea.

I could not believe that he actually kept a secret!

While we were on the way home from the lake everybody was at our house getting ready for the party....I never thought he would be able to pull that off...

Labor Day

We spent Labor Day at the lake....

We had some fun times....

And then some not so fun times...

But all in all it was a good long weekend for all :)

Back to school

School started back the end of August.

Ellie was excited about going back and we were so excited that her sweet friend from last year was in her class this year too.

This was her first year for car line.

I was really excited about it.

She did great the first day but after I picked her up she told me she did not like " car lion"

I asked her what she did not like about it and said she didn't like walking to the car with strangers....

Fair enough.... So now we walk in :)

We got ice cream after her first day back like we do every year....

Miss Annie liked that tradition :)

We missed our sweet Ellie while she was at school!

Fun at Aunt Leigh's

We have been trying to make more frequent trips up to Huntsville to visit our sweet aunt Leigh.

We went up there a few weeks ago and Ellie had a great time playing with her cousin Jamie!

Chuck E. Cheese

Ellie has a new obsession with Chuck E. Cheese. 

Every time we pass it she always points it out and ask to go there.

So... We finally felt guilty enough and took her.

Both of the girls had a great time and the food was great too :)

Lately

Life has been crazy and busy lately.

I am ready for thing to slow down a little bit.

We have has lots of exciting things happen around here over the past few weeks and I am going to have to play catch up on my post!
