Summertime how I love you...
Fun and crazy trips like this bring back old memories and makes new memories and makes me love summertime even more...
I have been wanting to go to the New Orleans zoo FOREVER and we finally went. It really was so cool!
There was so much to do and see. I already want to go back and will have to because we didn't see it all and I feel like we missed out on some good New Orleans food too.
We had a few minutes to spare before the zoo opened and so we went to Whole Foods and drove around the garden district and looked at old house... oh my!! It was so pretty.
We made it there right before the zoo opened.
We met my favorite cousin there 😀
The kids were so excited to see little Nolan too. These kids are such sweet little friends and it makes me so happy.
There is a wet zoo there and I am convinced that I would not have survived the heat with it. There is a splash pad and lazy river and it was so much fun!
After our fun day at the zoo we drove east over to orange beach. This was Henry's first trip to the beach house and we were so excited to see him there and see how he liked the beach.
And of course he really liked it. He liked the sand but he LOVED the water. He laughed when the waves hit him in the face.
This girl played in the water for the longest time. She is a little fish and will go full speed in the water until she it so sleepy she can't think straight.
Annie love the water too but she also loves her naps. She always always takes a long nap sprawled out on the beach. It's her thing 😀
And of course the water is more fun with your daddy.
We were there during the tropical storm so we got two good beach days. We were able to visit the park before the rain came in.
And also play out first ever round of put put...
The girls loved it and I know we will be playing again.
Now we are all ready to go back 😀
