Cookies and Birthdays

We went over to my Mom's this weekend for our Annual Christmas Cookie Decoration!

It is always fun and exciting during the holidays to do all our traditions.

I love them and have so many memories from them and I hope so very much that my sweet Ellie will love and cherish these times and memories as much as I do.

Here was the table BEFORE the kids were let free.

We ended up with some pretty cute cookies

And we finished off the night with a birthday celebration for Melissa, Gracie and Jenna Leigh!

Small Group Party

We went to our small group Christmas Party this past weekend.

Ellie was in a mood and she looks just thrilled to be there.

We had fun, even though we were not convinced that she was having fun!

She did have fun opening gifts and playing with her new toy.

We had a house full of people, lots of good food and lots of fun!

Christmas Program

We had a great time last week watching Anna-Claire in her Christmas program at school!

She did great and Ellie loved watching all the kids.

I know she cannot wait until she is old enough to be in a Christmas Program herself!

Christmas Banquet

Last Sunday night Matt and I enjoyed a night out and went to the Christmas Banquet at our church. We really had a great time and it was fun getting to go out alone like old times :) Thanks Aunt Em for keeping our sweet little Elle-Belle! I know she loved it!

Christmas Break

Today was Ellie's last day of MDO before Christmas Break.

I sure know she will miss it!

She decided she wanted to wear her backpack today.

She looked so big!

I was looking back at her picture from her first day just a few short months ago and she has already changed!

Ellie and Santa

Everytime Ellie visits Santa this year it just keeps getting worse and worse.

She really LOVES him and LOVES to talk about him and look at him but sitting in his lap is a whole different story!

Here she was at the Pancake Breakfast...visiting Santa!

Birthday Party and Christmas Parade

Saturday we spent the morning at the fire station to help celebrate Carson's 3rd Birthday !

ellie had a time eating cupcakes and climbing on the fire truck!

Then we headed back home to go to the Trussville Christmas Parade.

Here is my mom, Ellie, River, and Rileigh.

It was cold but we still managed to have fun!

The kids loved the fact that they got candy thrown at them.

River would yell at them " Merry Christmas! My name is River Suns! Merry Christmas...would you please frow me some candy!?!?!"

Haha!

Ellie's favorite part was the last part when "Hoho" came by!
