This and that

Annie had her school picture sent home last week. She looked so big and I had to pull out last years to compare 😂

I cannot believe how much she has changed in a year.

Last week when we got home from getting ellie to school we caught a lizard in our living room. Yes you read that right... A LIZARD. I have my guesses on how it got in there ( see below) but I'm just glad that I was able to catch it and it isn't still running wild and free in my house.

After we caught it ellie said it must be her pet. I told her I didn't know much about keeping lizards alive and she said that was ok she just wanted it. We kept it for a few hours and then let it go.

And this next picture explains how I think the lizard got inside. The house addition is moving right along but there are some open places that still have to be closed up and I feel like for sure that is how that little guy snuck his was into our living room.

Anyways this is the way out house looked last Friday. Since this picture we have pained the roof... Hooray!!!

WEE Center pumpkin patch

Last week the girls school had a pumpkin patch. Ellie was super excited about Annie and me coming to join her for the day.

Ellie loves having her sister around her class and her friends. I hope she is always like this 👭

Ellies class 💗

The girls both came home with a ratherlarge  pumpkin. They have carried those things all around the house and really loved them this year.

Fall for dinner

We were feeling the fall weather the other night and cooked up a yummy and oh so cute Halloween supper.

The girls love helping me bake.
We made pumpkin bread. They are always "testing" it. Ellie loved it. Annie did not.

I love having those sweet faces help me :)

Our other super cute and very good spooky dinner was mummy dogs.
These turned out so stinkin cute!!

And very tasty too.

 Happy Fall

Pictures in the Gardens

We met Kim Monday night so she could take our pictures. I like to do spring and fall pictures because it gets the girls at their birthday and half birthday. I guess this explains why we have more pictures than wall space :) But I just adore these pictures and I know that I can never go back and take them again.

I took just a few with my phone because I just couldn't help myself. The girls love having Kim take their pictures and cooperate for the most part

I love it when Matt comes along too so we can get some good ones with him in there too!!

Another plus is that Kim bring Hunter along and Ellie loves having a friend to play with.

Happy Thursday !!

Last weekend

I worked both Saturday and Sunday last week... Impressive. I know!
Matt spent the days with the girls which is always fun to hear about.

Saturday morning Ellie had a tea party birthday for her friend Delaney.

I got a few pictures sent to me and I know they had a great time!

Whole Ellie was at the party, Matt and Annie went to the My Laurel fall festival and just walked around and of course ate :)

Sunday after I got off we went to the Fall Festival at our church.

It was COLD but we had a great time.

Now I'm ready for a weekend where I Don't have do work !!

Pink Party

We continued our pink celebration on into Friday for the MSE pink luncheon at Matts work. We even went a little crazy and sprayed our hair pink 😮

The party theme was Crazy for a Cure so pink hair for right in.

Everything was decorated perfectly and as always the food was wonderful.

What a great day!

Pink Day and a Sick Puppy.

Wednesday was Turn Trussville Pink so we did our part, wore pink and helped the town have pink out.

We had a great morning playing at the park. The weather was perfect time for a park day.

Annie usually has a big time with me while Ellie is at school and is usually in no hurry to pick up her sister but she was missing her sister at the park.

We had to leave the park and pick up Jack for a visit to the vet. He woke up with a nasty eye and he was already over due for his yearly shots so we took him right in.

The vet was all decorated for Halloween and we had to take a few pictures with the doggy bones.

Jack did great with his shots and said that his eyes was simply scratched and so he got a steroid and antibiotic drop and it's already looking all healed up.
