Our ChildlessTrip

The weekend after Valentine's Day Matt and I headed over to a Bed and Breakfast outside of Atlanta. Ellie stayed with her Mamaw and I have no doubt she had a great time!
The place we stayed was called Serenbe.
It was so nice.
We had been trying to go before but it never worked out until now.
As soon as we got there I think we both felt a little guilty for leaving Miss Ellie behind because there were lots of sweet animal and baby goats which I know Ellie would have gone crazy over.
There was also this really cool tree house and alot of other things for her to do so she will have to come along for the fun next time!
The Bed and Breakfast was in a community and on alot of land with a farms, lake and pond.
Everything was so neat and different, even the light post!

We spent Friday afternoon relaxing and we walked around the community a little while.
We ate at the restaurant in the Bed and Breakfast called the Farmhouse.
It was great and just down the hallway from our room which made it even better!
After we ate, Matt attempted to teach me how to play chess :)
It was a learning experience!
On Saturday we woke up and ate a wonderful breakfast at the Farmhouse again then headed to Atlanta.
I have have been wanting so badly to go to the Ikea store and we finally got to go!
I was so, so excited!
After Ikea we hung aroung the Atlantic Station area.
We saw a super cool Target and ALMOST had to go inside. It just looked so cool on the outside I kept thinking it MUST have cooler stuff inside than ours does :)
THen we went to see The Vow.
It was good but very, very sad.
After that we headed back to the Bed and Breakfast.
We got back a little earlier than our reservations so we drove around the community.
We had been told that the HGTV Green Home was being built there and we finally found it!
It was not finished yet but it was really neat to see.
We ate at a restaurant in the community called The Hil.
Even though I had pizza, it was really good!
We woke up Sunday moring, ate breakfast and headed back home to see our sweet baby girl!
We had a great time and cannot wait to go back!
