Shopaholics

In have a feeling that I am in for trouble...

Both of these girls love love love to shop.

Ellie walks into and says " let's but a lot of things mommy" then she starts grabbing two of everything...one for her and one for Annie. 

Annie has a shoe fetish. She loves anything that is stringy or strappy....

She also loves to carry around the shopping bag

Haircut and splash pad

We had a fun day getting a trim for Ellie and then meeting our cousins at the splash pad to play!

My little performer

Ellie was in her first ever performance the other night at church.

I had to bribe her with cupcakes after she got done singing....but it was well worth it :)

She danced and performed for all to see!

PJ Craft Night

My sisters church hosted a pj craft night for preschoolers.

Ellie and I went and had a grand time.

We ate pizza and candy, made crafts and learned a little about Noah's Ark.

They also did so face painting and Ellie as a kitty cat just cracks me up!

Crazy girl

This past week this little girls walking has really taken off and so has her attitude.

She will give you a piece of her mind if you messs with her and its not her idea.

She just cracks me up. 

She can be so sweet and snuggly but she can also be a fireball.

I'm thinking she is going to be a handful but lucky for me I have Ellie to help keep her in line :)

Get away

Matt and I spent our first weekend away without Annie past weekend...

The girls spent the weekend with Awmaw and Pawpaw while we went with some of our small group friends up to Georgia for a adult only rafting trip!

We had such a great weekend with our sweet friends but we were ready to get home and see our sweet girls!

My little crawler

Annie's crawl just makes me laugh. 

We have decided she looks like some kind of bug or animal.

She can stand and walk but she still prefers to crawl.

She can move so fast....

These two little girls just constantly melt my heart.

They are always doing and saying the sweetest things.

Starkville

We had a great visit to Starkville last weekend! 

It always feels like we are going home when we go there. 

We love to drive around and see everything that had changed since we lived there. 

We got to visit with Nanny- mommy, Granny, Grandaddy, and lots of farm animals!

Bird feeder

Ellie was so excited to be able to make a new bird feeder for our yard!

She loved that we used peanut butter so she could test it before we used it :)

11 months

Last week this little nugget turned 11 months old.

Time please slow down, you are going WAY too fast!

We have started planning her birthday party and this just makes me want to cry.

This little bit is such a blessing to us. 

Her smile with those big ole teeth just melt my heart.

This little bit knows what she wants me she doesn't mind letting you know :)

I have decided that she doesn't know that she is a second child. 

Here are some things we want to remember about our Annie girl at 11 months:

- your big slimy, sugar kisses. At night time you try and distract me from putting you to sleep by giving me one big mouth wide open kiss after another :)

-how you love to go outside. You think you can reach and open the door if you stand on your tippy top toes....this is so funny to watch.

- you and Ellie holding hands. It's so sweet. Most of the time when I look around in the back seat and y'all are sitting back there holding each others hand. This just makes me so happy. 

- how you have started to call for people...not that you are saying the right thing but you know to raise your voice and yell something! Silly.

- your wild, crazy, curly hair. I love it and it makes me laugh.

- your sweet baby feet. I love to kiss them.

- how much you love dogs...all of them. You call them all "gac" and are just mesmerized when we see them.

- how you love our daddy. He just eats this up :) in the morning if you hear him in the kitchen you crawl in there with him and eat eggs for breakfast with him. You have started crying when he leaves 

in the morning for work. It makes it so hard for him to leave. 

Our sweet little one, we love you more and more each day.

Elle-belle

My sweet Ellie girl is growing is fast.

Some days I look at her and I just cannot believe that three short years ago she was just a little bundle. 

She is so smart and observant. She is always up for an adventure. Just about every morning she wakes up she will say " where us going? what us making?"

She likes to stay busy like her mom :)

She loves helping and she loves doing things all by herself.

She has just learned how to get on the counter by herself so now she wants to get her plate, bow, cup all by herself. She is very independent. She always has to buckle herself up in her carseat and if anybody tries to help she is insulted.

She just adores her sister Annie and Annie adores her. I'm  afraid Annie is going to be lost with her when school starts back. Ellie is always wanting to play with Annie. She calls her Fannie girl, sweetie heart and cutie :) she loves to walk Annie around and pretend like they are going places. She will tell me that they are going to the store and the movies. She loves for Annie to lay on top of her...if only Annie were a fan. She likes to play for a little but also likes to do her own thing too. She has started to bite Ellie when she won't leave her alone. I try and tell Ellie when she starts growling to leave her alone because she needs her space too. This is a foreign idea for a three year old.

She loves to talk to people. Whenever we are at she will tell me..." I want to talk to him." The other day while we were at the doctor she told me she wanted to talk to the doctor. She sat there and discussed all her boo boos with the doctor at Annie's doctor appointment. She loves our neighbors and is lists telling me she wants to go talk to Mr Steve. She will sit and just talk it up with him. Just like her daddy.

Ellie loves to play pretend. She always wants to play like she is the mommy and I am the sister and 

Annie is the brother...poor Annie. She also likes to play like school. She will tell me over and over that she is Ms Teri and I am Ms Elizabeth:) At "school" she has to take her lunch box full of Dora gummies so she won't be hungry :)

She now has an imaginary friend named Michael. We found him at the Mcwane Center. Ellie said he lost his mommy so now he lives with us. Yesterday at the store we had to buy a sucker for Ellie and Michael. Luckily Michael shared with Annie :)

She loves to be outside. She always tells me she wants to go out to the garden. She loves to eat fresh veggies too. She will eat tomatoes, bell peppers, banana peppers and jalapeño peppers right from the garden. Her favorite fruit is and has been watermelon. The other day I bought one and we cut it open and scooped out the watermelon and then she sat there with a spoon and drank all the juice out. She said it was the best water she had ever had:) 

She is the sweetest loving little girl ever. She makes me smile ever single morning when I see her sweet face. Now when she wakes up she will look out the window and say " it's a good morning!"
