Movie date

Last week Ellie and I had a special movie date....just the two of us.

Its always so much fun and special to get to spends time with my big girl!

Circus party

Last Sunday we were excited to celebrate River and Rileighs birthday at their circus party!

Ellie had been worked up all week about the party and the bouncy house, music to dance to and cake did not disappoint :)

The Lake

A few Saturdays ago we went up to the lake with our small group.

Ellie was so excited about having all her friends up!

We had a great day of sunshine, swimming, good food and sweet friends!

Passing the time

Since little miss Annie is getting so close to being a walker.....

Our new favorite thing to do around here is go on trip :)

Ellie likes to walk her around the house and pretend like the are going to the store and the movies...

Annie would really rather do her own thing...but she tolerates it ;)

Saturday

We had a busy, fun Saturday.

We spent the day picking berries, visiting horses, spending a little time at City Fest, and celebrating birthdays...hooray for Saturdays!

My sweet friend Betsy and her husband Nick came over the other night for a visit.

Swimming lessons

Ellie started swim lessons a few weeks ago at the Trussville pool. 

She was kind of hesitant about it at first but she ended up doing great!

10 months

It is so hard for me to believe that my little snuggle big is 10 months old already.

This little girl is so sweet and her smile just melts my heart.

 She is so full of personality and she keeps us smiling.

She is talking and I just love watching her learn new words.

Right now she says mama, dada, jack ( she calls all dogs jack),  uh( uh oh) and bye bye. 

She is getting so good with her balance.

She will stand by herself and has even taken some steps!!!

Here are some things we want to remember about our Annie at 10 months

- your sweet smile. I love how you crinkle up your nose of one side when you smile. I love your sweet teeth too. They just look so big when you smile!

- your sweet little feet. I just love them and could eat them up!

- how you play with your sister. Y'all are the sweetest two girls ever and it just makes me so happy to see y'all play and laugh together. I hope that y'all are best friends forever. 

- your soft sweet curls. I just love them.

- your crawl. It just makes me laugh but it gets you around...fast!

- how you love to be outside and swing. You are so content being in the swing. Just the other day you stayed in there so long you fell asleep. 

- your curiosity. you are into everything...learning and exploring. I have a feeling you are going to be busier than your big sister :)

- your sweet, mouth wide open kisses. They are slimy but oh so sweet.

Navarre beach

We spent last week at the beach with my family.

This is such a fun and special time for our family.

This year was different since our sweet uncle Jay and Randy were not there. Every year we go I always think...I wonder what next year will be like. I wonder who will be able to come, who will have a new baby, what will we do? We have been doing this trip since I was little and we have have a lot of things change in our family but I really never imagined last year that our family would go through such hard losses this past year.

Ellie has learned to love this trip. She likes to hear stories about the beach and spending the week with her cousin. This makes my heart so happy. I know as Annie gets older she will love it just as much. The weather was not great but we managed to find things to do. It was just nice being away :)
