Happy New Years to All!

We had a fun busy New Years Weekend.

We went to the lake for New Years Eve and spent the weekend with Matt's Family.

It is always fun to go and spend time at the lake... it is very relaxing.

Its out in middle of nowhere so you don't feel like you should be "going" somewhere because there is nowhere to go...

So we spent the night there and Matt went hunting...I know he enjoyed that...

He is now going to have to go hunting more because he has got all his hunting "gear" now he will just have to hunt in order to show me it was all worth it...

On New Years Day after we ate our "peas and greens" we went to Florence to see my sister Jamie and her family.

Ellie's cousins, River and Rileigh were SO excited to see Miss Ellie.

They played together really well. It was neat to see them because this is one of the first times that we could just sit them on the floor and watch them play and interact together.

Rileigh was so funny...she couldn't understand why Ellie couldn't walk... Rileighwould walk beside Ellie crawling and would pull at Ellie's bottom like she was saying " get up and walk!"

We left their house Sunday and I think that River was ready for us to leave so he could get all his toys back. When we were getting ready to leave Riv tried to take a toy from Ellie and we explained to him that you can't take toys and he said..."OK...go home Ellie!" He wasn't even trying to be polite...kids are so funny! I guess he had had enough visiting and sharing!
