Since Annie's cast was still on during Labor Day we didn't go up to the lake.
We were wanting to go one more time before it was too cold to swim and we cut it close. Everybody but Ellie agreed it was too cold to get in :)
The weather was overcast but water was pretty cool out where it was deep enough to swim.
The water was down so we took a boat ride and a picnic to a "sandy beach " as Ellie called it. Ellie had a great time exploring. Annie slept on the boat.
On the way back Ellie tried out a double slide that we found.
She loved it and said she wanted one for Christmas.
She probably slid down 10 times and by the time she got back in the boat her lips were blue.
Annie knew better than to get in...she just watched from the boat where it was dry and warm.
